Mandate members in the Boots Ireland pharmacy chain are to be balloted on a three per cent pay increase in the coming weeks following the union's lodgement of a pay claim in May. The results will be known on June 19. The union says the pay increase is well deserved recognition for the hard work and dedication the workers have given to the company.
'We're recommending acceptance of this deal which will impact on approximately 2,000 workers in 80 stores nationwide,' said Brendan O'Hanlon, Mandate Divisional Organiser, adding that the agreement is in the best interests of all involved.
