The Three Sisters 2020 partnership of the cities and counties of Waterford, Wexford and Kilkenny, which are preparing a joint bid for the 2020 title of European Capital of Culture, is to launch an extensive analysis of the creative industry sector of the South East region.
Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) is working in partnership with the Three Sisters to develop a Creative Industries Baseline and Growth Action Plan for the South East.
Bid Director, Michael Quinn said, a successful Bid for this title 'would have a transformational impact on the cultural and creative life of the South East region'.
'It would bring new investment to the sector, generate cultural activities, and enhance the role of the creative and cultural businesses and orginisations within the region.'
Companies within the Creative Industry sector will be emailed a link to an online survey for them to complete. The survey will contribute to the work of WIT's Cultural Capital Research Project (CCRP). To access the survey form go to www.threesisters2020.ie
