IT Carlow signs new deal with Chinese
it CARLOW signed a strategic agreement with one of China's leading finance universities, exposing the institute's students to industry and academic expertise at a global scale in one of the world's leading financial centres.
Shanghai Finance University (SFU) has signed a finance services collaboration agreement with Institute of Technology Carlow that will see staff and students travelling between both colleges to work on projects specific to accounting and finance. The agreement between SFU and IT Carlow offers myriad opportunities for both undergraduates and postgraduates. Shanghai is ranked in the top five in the global financial centres index and a recent survey by leading international law firm Eversheds of some 600 senior executives in multinational corporations highlighted their considered belief that Shanghai will develop into the world's second most important financial centre, after New York, in the next ten years. Vice President of Shanghai Finance University (SFU), Mr Chen Xiaobing, visited IT Carlow to sign the agreement.
