Linked Finance raises €13,000 to help business grow through online funding

Linked Finance, Ireland's leading 'P2P' lending company, has announced that it that has successfully raised €13,000 in funding to support the expansion of Salon Diva in Wexford town. The funding was raised through Linked Finance's online lending platform (www.linkedfinance.com) and sees Salon Diva join 11 other businesses throughout Wexford which the company has raised funding of €260k for to date.

In business for over 15 years, Salon Diva is a state-of-the-art salon located on Custom House Quay in Wexford City. The salon's team of stylists, which includes two master colourists, offer a wide range of hairdressing services to both male and female clients. Building on its loyal client base, the business is experiencing steady growth and demand for new services.

As such, the €13,000 in funds raised will be used as working capital to expand the business and incorporate a beauty salon/nailbar and grooming section for men. Commenting on the funding raised for Salon Diva, Peter O'Mahony, CEO of Linked Finance said there is very strong appetite among lenders on its platform to provide finance to SMEs that are growing and in need of working capital. He said that the company's lenders currently have over €10m in funds readily available to lend to Irish business. 'We're delighted to be partnering with Salon Diva. It's a great example of how a company with strong business model and backed by hard-working and passionate teams can achieve tremendous results. 'This type of drive and commitment shown by SMEs across the country is the very backbone of our economy,' he said. Mr O'Mahony said that the model provides an attractive funding option for businesses that are in growth mode.
