The Little Book of North Wexford was officially launched at Gorey Chamber Lunch in Eco Restaurant on Tuesday last.

Tourism is an important sector within the local economy and Gorey Chamber is committed to supporting all of its tourism members over the coming season. The Little Book is an important reference guide for all visitors and the members hope to see it in every suitable location in the district before long.

Now in its fourth year the little book is broken up into fun for kids, live the adventure, explore the culture, places to eat and meet and shopping and business, which gives examples of businesses who have supported the publication of the little book under these headings.

It has proven an invaluable resource for many tourists as they enjoy all the district has to offer.

This years publication has Bertram Allen the well known show-jumper as the area's local hero while it also contains some useful information on villages in the area, a map of Gorey town and one of North Wexford.

Considered by many as an essential resource for every back pocket and handbag, Gorey Chamber and Gorey Tourist Office remain committed to providing this essential resource for tourists and locals alike.
