Small to Medium enterprises (SMEs) across all sectors in Wexford have until Friday (September 25) to enter the 2015 Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards. The awards have already attracted a large number of entries from across the country.

The 2015 Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards are Ireland's longest running award scheme for SMEs and over the years have recognised and supported the potential of many now high-profile businesses and entrepreneurs.

Speaking about the awards, Derek Manning, Regional Director - Leinster, Ulster Bank said: 'I would strongly encourage Wexford businesses to enter. The application form takes approximately 30 minutes to complete and this time could prove invaluable for your business. Successful entrants will benefit from networking and public relations opportunities at each stage of the awards, giving them the opportunity to showcase their businesses on a local and national platform.'

Entries are open to small and medium enterprises across all sectors. Businesses can enter themselves in up to two of the following list of categories:

Woman Led Business Award, Best Business Start Up Award, Small Business Award, Established SME Award, Food and Drink Award, Social Enterprise Award, International Business Award and Agri-Business Award. Following an initial judging process at the preliminary stage of the awards, competing businesses in Wexford and across Leinster will be shortlisted for the Leinster Provincial Awards. Provincial winners will then go on to compete at an all-island awards ceremony in December 2015.
