Wells House and Gardens has won the AIB North Wexford Tourism Award for 2015.

The competition was organised by Gorey Chamber and the winner was announced at a Chamber lunch in The Kitchen restaurant in Gorey recently. This year's nominees were: Adventure Alley; The Amber Springs Hotel; Kia Ora Mini Farm; Morriscastle Strand Holiday Park; Wells House and Gardens; and Wexford Lavender Farm. Votes were submitted by the business community.

Wells House and Gardens was announced as the winner by Keith Groarke of AIB. 'Tourism continues to be a highly important part of the local and national economy,' he said. 'This award goes some way to applauding the work of Sabine Rosler and the entire team that has seen Wells House and Gardens being transformed in a short number of years.'

He also congratulated the other nominees. 'When you visit all of these tourism attractions and destinations, it clearly shows that North Wexford has much to offer the tourist whether it be the day tripper, or the domestic and international market,' he said.

Sabine Rosler was presented with a certificate framed by The Gaslamp Gallery on Esmonde Street and a piece of ceramic pottery by Ann Marsh sourced from Market House Design. She thanked all who voted for Wells House and Gardens.
