Wexford company a finalist in national franchise awards
Wexford entrepreneur Karl Fitzpatrick's Bricks 4 Kidz has been announced as a finalist in the Best Emerging Franchise category of the prestigious Irish Franchise Awards 2017 which celebrate excellence in franchising nationally and rewards outstanding achievements from the franchise community.
Fifteen category awards will be presented at a gala event attended by leaders of the franchise sector, invited guests, media and government representatives.
Inspired by LEGO, Bricks 4 Kidz is a global educational play franchise which teaches the principles of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) to children aged 3-16 years.
In 2015, local entrepreneur, Karl Fitzpatrick, brought the concept to Wexford, when he purchased the master franchise for Ireland.
'I saw a niche in the Irish market for an educational play business and Bricks 4 Kidz was the perfect fit, having already achieved phenomenal success across the globe,' said Karl.
Since then, Bricks 4 Kidz, an internationally-renowned children's enrichment franchise which cuurently operates in 40 countries, has appointed franchisees in both North County Dublin and South County Dublin, with many more planned to open across the country in 2017-2018.
The Irish Franchise Awards will be presented at a formal black-tie awards ceremony at The Radisson St Helen's Hotel, in Stillorgan, Dublin on Friday, May 19.
