New Ross based company Vegus foods have been juicing up a storm of late and their new brew promises to pack a nutritional punch.

The juice company recently launched their carrot juice in Pettitts SuperValu, which is the third juice in their expanding range. With their new product, they're hoping to break in to the commercial juice market and sell their juices to the average shopper.

Prior to this, Vegus focused on broccoli sprout and wheatgrass juice which they say appealed more to the very health conscious or the ill. Their latest creation, which is made from Wexford carrots, is aimed at people from all backgrounds. A children's version of the new product has also been created which has a touch of orange juice.

Though Vegus is a small company, founder Michael Reynolds says that it's constantly growing. They're currently distributing to 15 countries and are one of the only producers of broccoli sprout juice in the world.
