Wexford Festival Trust seek suitable person for new head development role

The Wexford Festival Trust are on the hunt for a new Head of Development and are inviting potential candidates to apply.

The chosen applicant will report to the CEO and will be responsible for leading and managing the Wexford Festival Opera (WFO) development department. This is a new role within the organisation which has been created to allow the Wexford Festival Trust to grow and achieve greater sustainability.

The position requires the successful candidate to hold accountability for the company's overall fundraising and income generation strategy and implementation. They will also be tasked with growing the level of voluntary income in accordance with WFO's strategic objectives.

Recruiters are looking for somebody who possesses exemplary business development skills and great management capabilities. A proven track record in income generation is also required. They also hope to find somebody with an in-depth knowledge of Irish and international philanthropic markets and an interest in working with people.

A passion for opera and the arts is also cited by recruiters as a plus.
