Wexford graduates receive their certificates following beauty therapy programmes
GRADUATES from two recent beauty therapy training programmes run at CTEC were presented with their certificates at a ceremony at the CTEC Training Centre in Wexford. Both courses were funded by WWetb - Waterford Wexford Education & Training Board - and representatives from WWetb were on hand to congratulate the learners along with trainers and staff from CTEC.
Graduates from the Beauty Therapy Traineeship course received ITEC Beauty Specialist Diplomas as well as ITEC Diplomas in Facial Electrical Treatments.
The graduates also received CIBTAC Diplomas in Beauty Therapy Services and the CIBTAC Award in Facial Electrical Treatments. Kathryn Bermingham from the WWetb presented the ITEC and CIBTAC certificates to the group.
These learners are continuing with their studies and will go on to undertake qualifications in epilation, massage and body electrical treatments. ITEC and CIBTAC qualifications are recognised in Ireland and in over 33 countries so they provide graduates with a wealth of opportunities for employment at home and abroad.
Co Wexford is fortunate to have luxury hotel spas and an excellent selection of beauty salons where graduates can seek employment. Graduates can also apply for beauty therapy jobs in the rapidly-expanding cruise ship market and see the world while earning their living. For the entrepreneur, graduates can set up their own beauty business giving them the freedom to work for themselves.
Also receiving awards were graduates of the WWetb sponsored ITEC Certificate in Make-up evening class which was run at CTEC in Wexford.
