Wexford's Home Instead wins fresh certification

Wexford's Home Instead Senior Care has received ISO 9001:2008 accreditation for its quality management systems. This certification reassures older people in the community who use home care services and their families that the highest standards of care are being delivered.
'Home Instead Senior Care has always been an advocate for standards in Ireland's home care market and this accreditation shows our commitment to a quality assured home care industry and sets us apart from competitors,' said Stephen Conway, Owner and Managing Director of Home Instead Senior Care in Wexford.
'Based on population growth alone, the number of home care recipients may nearly double to 96,260 by 2021. This really heightens the importance of having quality management systems in place to deal with the increasing demand that will be placed on Home Instead Senior Care in the coming years.
Home Instead Senior Care was set up in Wexford in 2006 and provide care to over 450 families. The home care provider employs 200 of caregivers in the local community who are professionally trained to help older people live a happy, healthy and independent life at home.
