KELLY Roche, who lost her life in an accident in a car accident on the Rosslare Road a little over a week ago, was young, bright, vibrant and full of life.

'Everything about her had to be perfect,' said her uncle Shane Roche.

'Family meant the world to her, she idolised her young son Tyler and loved her mam and dad and she spent a lot of time with her nannies, Francis Roche and Bernie Boyle.

Shane said Kelly loved hairdressing and beauty and had enrolled on a course to complete her studies in September.

He said she had a generous nature and 'if her brother or sister Ryan and Ciara or Tyler wanted anything she would get if for them, even if it meant putting herself into debt.

'You could never win a verbal argument with her, forget it, she always had to have the last word,' said Shane.

Ahead of last week's funeral mass at the Church of the Annunciation, Clonard, mourners were asked to wear bright clothes rather than more traditional dark ones to reflect Kelly's love of colour and life.

Kelly enjoyed nothing better than a girls' night out, whether a house party or in a bar, and loved music and singing Karaoke. She was the first up and the last down, said Shane.

He said his niece was 'selfie mad' and took pictures everywhere, bringing her the name of the 'Selfie Queen.' Shane said since her passing, her friends were still tagging her on Facebook with their pictures.

Kelly is the daughter of Brian and FDYS staff member Debbie Roche.

Kelly, of Radharc Na Mara, Coolcotts, is mourned by her parents, brother and sister Ciara and Ryan and is sadly missed by her family and friends. Her Reqieum Mass took place at Church of the Annunciation last Wednesday.

'She is missed by everybody,' said Shane.
