Tipperary-born Nancy Ghent had a wide range of interests

Nancy Ghent passed away on July 4th at the age of 89 in Kerlogue Nursing Home.
Originally from Emly, Co Tipperary , Nancy and her late husband Dick moved to Wexford in the 1950s.
Nancy had a wide range of interests. She was an avid reader, a great gardener, and a skilled baker. She loved all sports, particularly hurling and horseracing.
Nancy thoroughly enjoyed her many trips to the U.S.
Nancy's family are grateful for the help of the staff in Kerlogue Nursing Home who took such good care of her. The family deeply appreciates the support of her neighbours and friends during her long illness.
Nancy is sadly missed by daughters, Catherine, Marie and Anne, and by her relatives and friends. Her funeral took place in Bride Street Church on July 4th followed by burial in Crosstown.
