In fine voice for local charities

THE 'VOICES TRUE' show which was staged in Wexford Opera House in December last year raised a total of ¤8,782 for local charities.
The show featured performances by Wexford Light Opera Society, Wexford Male Voice Choir, Wexford Ladies Choir, Enniscorthy Choral Society, Loreto Choir and Wexford Traditional Singers, with solo performances by sopranos Toni Walsh, Rachel Goodes and Roisin Dempsey.
Such was the success of the fundraising event that the organisers are planning a similar one for December 2010.
