WEXFORD is wrapped up in the magic of Christmas this week as the local Winterland Festival continues.

Get your skates on at the Wexford People Wexford On Ice rink on the Quayfront on any day from now until January 10.

Over the coming week the rink is open 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Santa's Train is running Friday (3 p.m. to 7 p.m.), Saturday and Sunday (both 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m.) this weekend, leaving from the Bullring.

The 15-minute trip takes in the ice rink, Christmas trees on the Quay and in Redmond Square, and the Main Street festooned with Christmas lights.
