Well-known Wexford businessman Blaise Brosnan will launch his latest book, 'I Dare You' on Thursday (May 19).

Blaise Brosnan, pictured, who was formerly chief executive of Wexford Farmers' Co-op, is already author of two books: 'Jack' and 'You are the Limiting Factor'.

'I Dare You', subtitled 'Win the Debate in Your Own Head', he says, is not another self-help book with a recipe for success, but rather it challenges the reader to visualise the outcome you desire, create it in your mind, manage change, start to take the necessary steps towards your goals and stand for something.

The book will be officially launched by Deputy Brendan Howlin in Wexford Library, Mallin Street, at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

'I Dare You' comprises 47 core messages from Blaise Brosnan's lifetime of experience as a mentor, educationalist and trainer and more than 300 carefully chosen, wise and profound quotations from his own personal collection.

A native of Killarney, he joined the management team of Wexford Farmers Co-op in the 1970s building it into a multi-million euro business and one of Ireland's leading enterprises. He is an economics graduate from UCD and a management graduate from Trinity College.

Through his business management consultancy (Management Resources Institute) and his Owner Manager Development Programme (OMDP), Blaise has facilitated more than 5,000 business people to stand back from the 'fuss' of their day-to-day activity and decide how best to drive their businesses forward and achieve their objectives.
