Fungal infection- sounds horrible doesn't it?
Many people get this type of infection. A fungal infection comes in many forms. Athlete's foot, ring worm, fungal nail infections, and jock itch are all fungal conditions. Jock itch can affect the groin, genitals or buttocks. They are all caused by various types of fungus which can thrive in warm, moist environments. Fungal skin infections are sometimes referred to as a yeast infection; this may be caused by yeast-like fungi called Candida.
These conditions can be treated, but the process can be slow - you will need patience. The longer you have waited to deal with it the longer it will take to clear. These conditions can be embarrassing and this can delay seeking help. Standard treatment is to use anti-fungal creams or medication. The medication can be tough on your liver, especially if you have to take it for several months.
Natural Remedies to treat these infections will include anti-fungal remedies like Garlic, Olive leaf, Oregano, Spilanthes or Citricidal - you may need a combination of them. Talk to the staff at your local health store and ask what their strongest anti-fungal remedy is. Remedies to support your immune and gut health may also be recommended.
External treatments include using Tea oil in a basin of water to soak your feet, pat dry and use a light spray of Tea Tree oil onto your feet, socks and shoes. Use Tea Tree cream frequently on ring worm, or skin infections. For jock itch use Tea Tree oil spray or powder, these won't be as greasy the cream, and also wear lose clothing.
Your body is playing host to a fungus and you have to do all you can to make its environment an unpleasant one to live. Look at your diet, sugar and yeast will feed a fungus so we don't want that. Reduce or avoid high sugar and high yeast content foods. Starve the fungus and kill it off using the anti-fungal remedies.
So don't let your fungal infection rule your life. Take control and talk to someone today.
