Local heritage and folklore expert Michael Fortune became an internet sensation overnight as two of his videos went viral across the globe.

The first video in Colaiste Abbain in Adamstown went viral on Facebook and Youtube and was republished by national media outlets and by US-based website Irish Central. The young stars, who were filmed talking about local superstitions and folklore, are bound to be the talk of the town as the video has attracted over 106,300 views in recent weeks.

Michael's other video 'Terminal Communication' is a short film showing the actions of drivers as they approach a badly signed junction in Rosslare. The humorous video has been shared over 6000 times on Facebook and has over 3000 views on YouTube.
