Is your child a picky eater? Keep it fresh and you won't go far wrong

A healthy diet, sleep, rest and exercise are all important to ensure that your child is healthy and has a good strong immune system. But what happens when they just won't eat? What if they are picky eaters? What then?
I know that when my two were toddlers they had a wide variety of food. But then that all changed: They didn't want their vegetables any more. I put them on their plate every single day-still do when they are home-they still put them back on my plate. What can you do?
I used to give them multi-vitamins. I felt that they were getting some of the nutrients that they were lacking in their diet. I felt better!
Try and keep them away from processed foods, sugary snacks and drinks as best you can. You have a better chance of them eating their dinner if they haven't been eating junk between their meals. The more home-made the food you can give them the better. Homemade goujons are so much healthier, and soup and smoothies are a great way to get extra nutrients into them. I know it isn't always easy. But at least it will be healthy for them. And you know exactly what's in the food you are giving your children.
If they just won't eat, then, Terra Nova Green Child, Living Multi-vitamin will provide your picky eater with plenty of nutrients. It includes vitamin B, C, and D as well as Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc. It's a fantastic supplement suitable for children from four years old. You can open the capsules and add the contents to a drink.
Many children don't eat fish which provides essential fats important for brain function, mood and skin health. An omega 3 fish oil supplement or krill oil for kids will provide these essential nutrients.
Every child is different, some of them are great eaters, and others are only pickers. Plus, it's difficult to have a healthy diet every day of the week. You might only need to give them the supplements on the days that they don't eat well for you.
All you can do is your best. Keep it simple, keep it fresh, and keep them away from sugar and you won't go too far wrong.
