THERE were double the celebrations in the Ferrycarrig Hotel on Friday night as friends Ruairi Curran and Oisin O'Connor celebrated their 18th birthdays. The two lads, who just completed their Leaving Cert at St Peter's College, celebrated their birthdays just a day apart, with Oisin turning 18 on August 21 and Ruairi on the 22nd.
There was a large number of their friends and respective family members in the hotel for what proved to be a great birthday bash.
Ruairi, from Killurin, is the son of Sean and Rosarii Curran, and has one sister, Niamh. Oisin, from Crossabeg, is the son of Jay and Bernie O'Connor, and has a brother, Fionn, and sister, Sorcha.
