ONE of the Wexford's most popular annual events, the Model Railway and Hobbies Show will take place at St Joseph's Centre over the Easter weekend.

This year's show - the ninth - is being organised in partnership between St Josephs and Wexford Model Railway Club and promises something for everyone in the audience.

There will be more than 20 layouts on show along with other model hobbies such as transport, millataria, ships/boats, aeroplanes and diecast cars and lorries.

There will also be trade stands, refreshments and raffle.

For the first time there will also be face-painting and games for younger children and a bric-a-brac stall run by St Josephs. The show will run from 12 noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, April 17. Admission will be €5 for an adult and €2.50 for children and pensioners. Family tickets for two children and two adults will be available for €12.
