A FUNDRAISING dinner in the Emerald Gardens in South Main Street raised over ¤4,000 for the Red Cross in Haiti.
Restaurant owners David and Laura Chan and their son Andrew threw open the restaurant to diners who contributed to the aid organisation in return for a sumptious dinner with wine and entertainment.
The Chans who have held two previous fundraising nights for Crumlin Children's Hospital and earthquake victims in China, supplied the food, wine and staff.
The dinner was a big success, raising ¤4,682 for the Red Cross.
