The jackpot in the St Fintans lotto now stands at €8,100 and this pot can be yours for €1.50 with tickets on sale in local shops and from club members.A match three prize of €300 is also up for grabs each week and Mary T Ryan won this prize last week when the winning numbers were 5,9,27,28.

Yoga with Annemaire is every Tuesday at 8pm-9pm in the scout hall, Ballymore.
OUR LADY'S ISLAND
The pilgrimage season will close on the 8th September with mass at 7pm and torchlight procession. A full schedule of pilgrimages from the 15th to the 8th is available on the notice board.
PRIDE OF PLACE
Our neighbours Tomhaggard represented Wexford in the pride of place competition and were adjudicated on Friday last. The tiny village were in the 0-200 category and we wish them the best of luck.
FUNDRAISING DRAMA
A big thank you to all who supported the recent fundraising drama in Hotel Saltees the proceeds from which will go to the Tomhaggard development fund. The Ballycogley Players look forward to seeing you all in the upcoming one act season. Thanks to all.
CEMETERY
It was very sad to see the act of vandalism carried out in Mayglass cemetery during the recent past. We ask that all visitors to the cemetery be vigilant and report any damage or suspicious activitives.
FOOTBALL
The St Fintan's intermediate football team travelled to Hollymount on Saturday last to take on Realta Na Mara in the quarter final of the Jack O' Leary intermediate championship.
At the final whistle the sides were level and for once in the extra time that followed fortune favoured the men in green who went on to win by a single point. Congratulations to all concerned.
They are paired with Halfway House Bunclody in the semi final of the Jack O'Leary championship.Keep up the good work lads.
LADIES FOOTBALL
The St. Fintans' ladies football team suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of St James 'A 'in this years intermediate championship.
GIRLS IN U16 FINAL
Congratulations to Julie and Laura who reached the All Ireland U16 finals but unfortunately were beaten by Mayo on the day but well done girls for getting that far from all the St Fintans Ladies club
U12 GIRLS SEMI FINALS
Well done to the U12 girls who have reached the Semi finals of division 4, they are due to play Sarsfields this Saturday the 4th September in Ballymore at 11.00am in morning come along to support the girls.
BADMINTON AGM
Ballycogley Badmintion club will hold their AGM on Thursday 9th September at 8.30pm sharp in Halfway House Ballycogley. All new and existing member please come along
ALL BLACKS FUN DAY
All Blacks AFC will be holding a fun day on September 18th at 2pm. There will be something for everyone on the day: car boot sale, cake sale, tea stall, face painting, golf, penalty shootout, crossbar challenge matches, bouncy castles, BBQ and much more.
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Peter Goldsmith and Donal Shanley who won the Umbro Cup with the county Wexford u-14 team in Galway recently.
Both Peter and Donal played a big part in the games leading up to the final and both played in the final.
Wexford scored 20 goals and conceded none which is a record for any county in the history of the Umbro cup.Well done boys.
WEDDING BELLS
Congratulations to Colin Doyle and Doireann O'Brien who were married in Mulrankin church on Saturday last.We wish them many years of good health and happiness together.

BEREAVEMENT
Deepest sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Anastasia (Ciss) Furlong, Ballynaas who died during the past week and was laid to rest in Rathangan cemetery. May she rest in peace.
DRAMA
It's that time of year again and the Ballycogley Players are getting back to treading the boards. The players will hold a meeting on Thursday night September 2nd in Ballycogley at 9pm. All those interested in getting involved in any way with the one act plays are requested to attend. Should you be unable to attend on the night and wish to be involved please let a member know.
TEXAS HOLD'EM
A charity poker night(texas hold'em) in aid of special olympics will be held in the Merry Elf lounge, Killinick on Friday September 3rd commencing at 9pm sharp. The St Fintans golfing society will hold its next outing on the lovely Fota Island golf course on October 9th. Please keep this date in mind as the trophy on offer that day will be the captains prize.
LADIES COASTAL CLUB
