CHURCH NOTES

Mass times: Saturday morning 9.30 a.m., Saturday evening 8.15 p.m., Sunday morning 10 a.m., Tuesday evening 7.30 p.m., Thursday morning 9.30 a.m.

There will be a church gate collection on Saturday and Sunday November 14/15 in aid of the Senior Citizens Party.

PIONEER NEWS

The Fr. Cullen Region school quiz (under 13) will be held in Marshalstown on November 22 at 2 p.m. The Readoiri will take place in Marshalstown Community Centre on Saturday, November 28.

Any pioneer wishing to take part in figure dancing, junior solo singing, musical group, junior recitation, senior solo dancing, junior musical solo, junior novelty act, junior disco dancing, senior novelty act, senior musical group, senior recitation or group singing please contact Eddie Dunne 053 92 47832.

BALLYMURN CELTIC AFC

We would like to thank all the locals who supported Ballymurn Celtic in the South East Soccer Draw. Congratulations to the three winners in the first draw and may we be as lucky in the coming draws.

Ballymurn Celtic recorded a great win beating Crossabeg 8 -2 at home. The goal scorers were : Robert O'Toole (1) Marc Dempsey (2), T.J.Parle (2), Stephen Redmond (2) and Eoin Snowy Kehoe. C.J. Murphy saved a penalty, with good performances on the day by Daithí Redmond, Micheal Cummins and Brian "Hob" O'Connor.

BALLYMURN YOUTH CLUB

Well done to the Under 15 indoor soccer teams that participated in the Regional Finals of indoor soccer on Sunday November 8 in St. Joseph's Community Centre.

Ballymurn youth Club will be travelling to the cinema this Friday November 13. The leaders for Friday are Aidan Banville, Dennis Kehoe, Lorraine Dempsey, Monica Nurney and Mark O'Connor.

GAA NEWS

Crossabeg/ Ballymurn club had no winner of last week's lotto jackpot but one match 3 winner, M.J. and Joan Scallan. The numbers drawn were 6, 11, 18 and 20. This week's jackpot is ¤5,300 and the draw will take place in The Anvil, Ballymurn.

The club are holding two table quizzes over the coming month. One will take place in Foley's of Crossabeg on Friday, November 20 and the other one will take place in The Anvil in Ballymurn on Friday, December 4. Your generous support would be appreciated.

The underage medal presentations will take place on Sunday, December 6. Congratulations from all members of the club to the Ladies Football club on winning the Junior final last weekend. Well done to the players and all involved with the team.
