WEXFORD ACTIVE Retired Association meet at Clonard Community Centre on the last Wednesday of each month.
The AGM is scheduled to take place on March 31 following Mass at 2.30pm for deceased members. Application forms for membership will be available; signed forms and fees will be collected at the April meeting.
The group's lunch for April will be in Marlfield House, Gorey on April 14 and will cost ¤20 plus bus. Names and money will be taken at the March meeting.
A holiday has been planned for May 9 to 14 to the Castlecourt Hotel, Wesport. Cost is ¤279 plus bus. A ¤50 deposit must be paid at the meeting on March 31 to secure a seat.
A holiday to Scotland is also being planned from July 4 to 8. Cost is ¤385. Based in Sterling with bus trips each day. Names and a deposit will be collected at the April meeting.
Weekly activities include: Keep fit every Thursday at 10.30 a.m.; bowls and cards every Tuesday from 2.45 to 4.45 p.m.; and Scrabble every Thursday. New members are always welcome.
