DUN MHUIRE is a theatrical haven this week as the annual Wexford Drama Festival continues.
The popular festival, which attracts groups from all over County Wexford and beyond, commenced on Friday night lat with a production of 'White Woman Street' by Tinahely Drama Group in the confined section.
Current All-Ireland title holders, Estuary Players then staged 'There Came a Gypsy Riding' on Saturday night in the open section.
Monday saw Kilrush Drama Group stage 'On Raftery's Hill' while Tuesday saw Bunclody/Kilmyshall and ' Death of a Salesman'.
The festival continues tonight with Kilmuckridge Drama Group and 'Canaries', while Bridge Drama Group will stage 'Blithe Spirit' on Thursday and Ballycogley will stage 'Eclipsed' on Friday night.
Home group, Wexford Drama Group will close this season with their production of 'Translations' on Saturday night.
This year there is again a very high standard of production with all groups vying for a place in the All Ireland Drama Finals in Athlone.
The adjudicator this year is Pat Burke from Kildare.
There are still tickets available for all performances and can be purchased at the door on the night.
Each play commences at 8 p.m. every night.
