Wishing the best of luck to Adamstown's James O'Shea and the U16 Good Counsel Football team who play St Brendans College, Killarney in Clonmel on Tuesday 28th April at 1pm in the All Ireland "A" U16 Football Colleges Kevin Bates is one of the Managers who got them this far, Kevin was also involved with the u16 team last year as they bid to win back to back All Irelands Finals! Congratulations to Sean Barden and the Co. Minor football team who had a great win over Westmeath recently.
The weekly '30' Card Game continues in the Community Centre this Friday 1st May at 9pm. Thanks to the ladies for the teas last week.

Alzheimer's Tea Day
Ellie Walsh and family, Tomgarrow will host an Alzheimer's Tea Day on Saturday 9th May from 2pm - 5pm, all proceeds going to the Wexford Branch. Your support will be very much appreciated.

Rosary at Knockreigh Grotto each evening during the month of May, Our Ladys month the beautiful grotto was presented by Miss Annie Dunne almost a century ago & we thank all those who keep it with such reverence & care.

Congratulations to Ryan Carthy Walsh who competed at the Leevale Track and Field Event on Saturday 18th April. He won gold in the Senior High Jump with a jump of 1.95m and this was his first time competing at senior level. We would also like to congratulate Zara Power who competed in the Loreto Schools National Final. She came 1st in the Shot Putt and 2nd in the Javelin.
Our tartan track is ready to use and we would ask again that people only wear 5mm spikes or runners on the tartan. Football boots are not allowed on the tartan.
CASTLE VINTAGE CLUB
Castle Vintage Club's annual 3 Day Tractor Run in aid of The Hope Centre Enniscorthy will take place on Friday 1st May heading for Portlaoise, Roscrea and Kilkenny. Leaving Taghmon Village at 11am.

Contemplative Outreach Ireland: When: Saturday, 2nd May-First Saturday of the month Centering Prayer Gathering. Venue: The Church of the Annunciation, Clonard Parish, Wexford. Killurin Rowing Club
Killurin Rowing Club Open Evening: Children age 10 upwards-Wednesday May 6th at 6.30pm. New and old members welcome. Senior members will be on hand to show kids how to row and enjoy water sports safely.
Fun Walk/Run: On Sunday 17th May, Killurin Rowing Club 5km Fun Run/walk & 10km Run will take place. Registration from 12.30pm at Marty B's with races commencing at 2.30pm. Volunteers are also required on the day, please call Sinead on 087 7784 954.
Glynn Community Alert
There was an excellent turnout for the first meeting of the newly reorganised Glynn Community Alert last Monday April 13th in Glynn Hall. A committee has now been formed and further details and information regarding joining and issues on hand will follow in the next couple of weeks. Our thanks to Fr. Stafford for setting up the hall and Martina Berry for campaigning for it's revival. We would also like to thank Margaret Quinn, Muintir Na Tire and Garda Aishling Ferrerter who were in attendance.
On the pitch: Our U14 girls took part in Slaney (Feile) Camogie last weekend playing two games in their group-the first game against Oulart- losing 1-3 to 0-3 and the second game v Bunclody- losing 2-4 to 2-2 with Bunclody scoring a heartbreaking last minute goal to win by a point. All of the girls played very well.
Well done to Alibeth Moran Curran who represented Glynn Barntown in the Féile skills competition on Sunday and did herself and her club proud.
Our Senior girls played Rathnure in the last game of the Senior league on Thursday last in Killurin. Our girls competed really well throughout the game. Preparations for Championship in July are now the priority.
Birthday Greetings: The club would like to wish two very important Camogie mentors a very Happy Birthday. Tom Dempsey and James ' Mylie' Walsh have now reached a century in combined ages!!
COISTE NA NÓG
U.8 hurling/football training (boys) takes place this week as follows: Thursday evening 6.30-7.30 pm and Sunday morning 10 -11.30 am.
The U.9s and 10s played two fine games of football on Sunday v Cloughbawn and all boys really enjoyed themselves.
The same morning the U.12 hurlers played host to two St Martin's teams and there were some very impressive displays of hurling from both sides. Our U.14 hurlers play the first round of the Championship on Thursday night vs Naomh Eanna in Gorey at 7:30pm. The U.16 footballers played Naomh Eanna Gorey in the second round of the Championship on Monday last at home and after an impressive display forced a draw on the night. The club would like to wish Naomh Eanna player Tom Cleary a speedy recovery from an injury sustained in that match.
The same boys begin their championship Hurling campaign on Mon next at 7pm in Pairc Charman (A team) and Killurin (B team).
Our Minor hurlers play local rivals St Martins in the first round of the Championship on Wednesday April 29th in Piercestown. Time TBC
On the County front well done to Michael, Daragh, Liam & Garbhan who were named as part of the Co U15 Development squad (football)
Well done also to Rowan, David & Jack who lined out with Wexford Minor Hurlers in the Leinster Quarter Final V Kilkenny at the weekend and after an excellent game which saw the teams level at full time as well as halfway through extra time Kilkenny pulled away by the narrowest of margins to win 1-17 to 1-16.
The Junior hurling team lined out v Ballyhogue on Saturday and our boys ran out winners 2-16 to 1-13.
The Senior hurlers played Oulart The Ballagh in Killurin on Wednesday in their first meeting since the drama of Summer 2014 which saw Oulart bow out of the Co. Championship at the hands of our lads. The game lived up to expectations with a strong display of hurling all round which ultimately led to a draw 1-16 to 2-13.
Well done to the U.12s who played Ballyhogue on Wednesday in Killurin and won 3-2 to 0-1. The U.14s took on St Mogues Fethard on Monday and came out on top also 6-8 to 4-1 On Sunday it was the turn of the U.18 team received a walkover from Gorey in the first round of the Championship. The Junior team put up a good show but were defeated by St Annes on Tuesday night.
There will be a 'Scrap Saturday' on Saturday May 9th. All scrap metal can be dropped off between 9am -5pm at the GAA pitch Killurin. All proceeds raised will go towards the Féile Peile fund 2015.
We are holding a Clothing Collection with all proceeds going to Féile Peile. Bring all types of clean and dry, men's, women's and children's clothing, handbags, paired shoes and belts. Items to be put in black bin bags and brought to Glynn/Barntown Clubhouse on:
