The weekly '30' Card Game continues in the Community Centre this Friday 12th June at 9pm. Thanks to the ladies for the teas last week. Catering on 12th will be: Siobhan Hynes, Rosie Siggins & Maura Barden. Catering on Friday 19th : Cathy Delaney, Helen Furlong, Breda Bolger & Patricia Furlong. Proceeds going to Parish Funds.

The Glo Health Irish School's Athletics All-Ireland Championships were held in Tullamore on Saturday 30th May. Wexford won 3 gold medals and all 3 of these medals came from Adamstown AC athletes. Marguerite Furlong representing St. Mary's New Ross, won her first gold medal in the Junior Girls Discus with a throw of 37.71m. Remarkably she went on to win another gold medal in the Junior Girls Shot Putt with a distance of 11.87m. Ryan Carthy Walsh representing Good Counsel New Ross won a gold medal in the Intermediate Boys High Jump. We are very proud of all the athletes who competed at the Schools All-Ireland's.
On Monday 1st June over 50 Adamstown AC athletes travelled to Tullamore for the Leinster Teams Event. Well done to our U12 Boys team of Ben Wall, Robert Wall, Tadhg McDonald and Laurence Power who came in 3rd position in the Leinster Team Event and our boys U13 team of Cormac Byrne, Tomas Jackman, Conor Whelan and Nathan O'Brien who were 2nd in the Leinster Team Event.
The Club's Chairperson-Marie Louise Byrne has had to step down from her position due to work commitments we would like to thank Marie Louise for all her hard work and dedication.

The new list will be drawn out during the month of June. A sincere thanks to all parishioners who look after Our Lords House with such care and attention over the past year.
The winning numbers at the recent draw were 3, 7, 16 and 29. There was no Jackpot winner. There were two match three winners: Roisin Ruth, Ferns and Michael Thorpe, Newtown. The next draw is on 15th June in Foleys Pub. The Jackpot is €13,000. When this Jackpot is won the next Jackpot will be over €6,000. Please support your local lotto.
Adamstown Gaa Coiste Na nOg are holding a fundraising Table Quiz in Cullens Pub on Saturday 13th June. The Quiz will start at 8.30 pm sharp and Tables of four are €40. The Door prize on the night is a weekend for two, worth €200, in any Talbot Hotel of your choice. All support welcome and greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to the children of Scoil Mhuire, Kennedy Park and Educate Together schools, who made their First Holy Communions over the last number of weekends. We wish them and their families and their schools every blessing and may they experience the love of Jesus in their lives.

A book fair will be held on Saturday, 13th June from 11am to 3pm in Saint Michael's Hall, Thomas Street. Games etc., will also be sold. All proceeds in aid of Nepal.
SVdP will hold a furniture and bric-a-brac sale in Saint Michael's Hall Thomas Street on Friday 19th June from 10am to 1pm.

FAB offers high quality affordable childcare for children ranging in ages from 15 months to 12 years. We are now taking bookings for September 2015. There are places available in our Playgroup/Toddler room and also in our After schools room which includes a pick up service from Scoil Mhuire Primary School.

The Glynn Barntown areas swimmers are enjoying their most successful season for many years. Following this weekend's performances at the Leinster division 1 swimming championships, a record number have now qualified for the top flight Irish Age Group division 1 championships, which are the finale of the National swimming season to take place in July. Many swimmers swam personal best times and made finals this weekend, but more importantly added to their lists of qualifying events.
Those with IAG div 1 qualification are, Eoghan. Mahon, Adam Mahon, Stuart Vaughan, Matthew Arthur, Cameron Steel and Georgina Steel. Others from Wexford swimming club also enjoying this great achievement are Darragh Sinnott, Dennis Mikelescu and Michael Leacy.
With Irish division 2 times and very very close to achieving division 1 are Angelo Mikelescu, Niall Reck, Domantos Snienszca and Liam Devaney, these 4 have one more gala opportunity to try to qualify, we wish them all the best in this endeavour. Congratulations to this fantastic bunch of swimmers and their coaches Mary Duggan and Mariusz Sznesder. We are all very proud of you.
South East Skittles League: All roads led to Mary Jo's Tuesday night as they played at home to Morrissey's. In the first game Mary Jo's stole the finish from Morrissey's as the game went down to finishing sticks with Eamonn Nobblett throwing the winning ones. Mary Jo's took the second game a with a bit more comfort.
In the doubles matches, game one went down to finishing sticks once again with Eamonn Nobblett finishing the game. The second doubles match was match of the night as the away team played a stormer to catch Mary Jo's lead right down to the finishing 9, where Ray Colfer finished on the one. Mary Jos team: Pat Hogan, Ray Colfer, Jim Byrne(Papa G, Eamonn Nobblett and Aoife Duggan.
This Tuesday night Mary Jo's are host to a friendly game with Clonmines at 8 pm.

The annual Tractor Run takes place in Glynn on Sunday 5th July with proceeds in aid of Glynn community centre. Further details closer to the day.
Gymstars will be running 2 Summer Camps this year. Our 1st one starts on Tuesday 14th July and 2nd camp begins on Tuesday 4th August. Both Camps run for 4 Days from 10am-2pm. Camps are open to non members and are designed to meet the needs of all kids from the beginner to the advanced. Book your place with €20 deposit. Extra Gymnastics Classes: Anyone interested in trying out gymnastics this is the time to join our great Club. Gymstars are running extra gymnastic classes for boys and girls of any age until the end of June. These classes are pay as you go €7 each. Barntown School Parents Association is holding a 'Fun' draising Table Quiz and monster Raffle in the Talbot Hotel this Thursday 11th June at 7.30 pm. €20 per table (up to a maximum of 5 people). Cash prizes and fantastic raffle prizes including a 2 night B&B accommodation at any Talbot Group Hotel. George Lawlor will kindly host the event. All are welcome to attend what promises to be a great social night.

Sympathy is extended to Rosie Reddy and her family on the passing of her husband Eddie last week. Eddie was laid to rest in Barntown Cemetery, where his friends and family said their final farewell. May he Rest in Peace.

Dancing at Camross
All our dance enthusiasts thoroughly enjoyed dancing to Catherine and The Images at the June dance on Friday 5th last. Liam Mannering will provide the music for the July dance which will be held on Friday 3rd. Kilgarvan Pattern
The Pattern in Kilgarvan will be held on Sunday 28th June with Mass at 2pm.
The May meeting of Taghmon ICA took place on Wednesday 20th May. The meeting started with the Demonstration which was Gardening with Mary Egan. As this was an open meeting it was nice to welcome 2 members of Camross ICA. Mary gave us lots of tips on making gardening easier as we get older and brought some lovely flowers from her Garden. She very kindly donated them to the raffle so nearly everyone present went home with something. Thanks Mary.
The meeting then followed. The meeting started with the ICA prayer and a vote of sympathy with Fr. David and the Murphy family on the sad death of Christy.
Two members attended the Bank of Ireland information day to learn some more about staying safe online. It is hoped there will be another on in the next few weeks. Six members took part in playing Pitch and Putt recently using the Go for Life Grant. We will be going again over the Summer. Watch out Rory McIlroy!!
Plans are taking shape for the Summer Outing and our entry for the Special Occasion Competion. 2 members were picked for the vouchers for An Grianan. They are Stella Cullen and Mella Winters. Enjoy Ladies.
The hostess was Kathleen Murray. Carol Gray won the competition for the best Gardening Hint and all present went home with some gorgeous flowers. The next meeting takes place on 17th June.

Our Intermediate football team play St Marys Maudlintown in the League this Friday night at 8pm in Taghmon.
There was no winner of the lotto Jackpot last week, there was seven match 3 winners: Billy O'Brien Kiltra, Wellingtonbridge (x2) Jessie Doyle, Ballyhennigan, Colette Murphy, Rochfords Pub; Brian Nugent, Camross; Tom Delaney Wilkinstown and Jenni Carroll Forrest. Next week's Jackpot will be €6,800.

U8 are out in Football Saturday morning in Taghmon against Horeswood at 11am.
U10 have Football match Friday evening, and they also have the Final of Caulfield League on Sunday Morning in New Ross against St. Mullins, best of luck to them.
U12 have a Football match against Our lady's Island Tuesday evening in Ballymore.

Our Feile Breakfast morning was a great success,we would like to thank everyone who supported,attended and helped on the day.The Feile girls and boys were there to greet and meet and served up some delicious breakfasts.They are busy preparing for Feile on 26th, 27th June.

The girls next competitive matches will be the Feile National Finals.O n behalf of Taghmon/Camross Ladies Football we would like to inform you about the upcoming Feile. We will be hosting 2 teams in our community, the girls are hosting Portlaoise, Co. Laois and the boys are hosting St. Mary's Ardee, Co. Louth.
Match times for Feile for the girls :Taghmon/Camross GAA pitch Friday 26th at 5 pm Taghmon/Camross V Atherlow,Tipperary,and then at 6 pm the girls play our local Horeswood LGFA club.
Saturday 27th at 11 am the girls will play their host club Portlaoise.Depending on results Cup and Shields Finals will be played on Sunday.
This is a fantastic opportunity for these girls to represent Taghmon/Camross and their county.Feile is a memory that they will always have and we hope it will be a memorable occasion for them.
Ladies Adult played Ballyhogue Thurs 4th and came away with a great win 4-19 to 3-6 in the league.Next match is Monday 8th June V Bannow.

Taghmon United AFC's AGM is on this Friday Jun 12th in the Scout Hall with Underage at 7.30 and Mens/Womens at 8.30.
After another terrific season we would like to thank the hard working Committee, Managers and their assistants all the players in the various age groups and the terrific support throughout the season it is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to Brónagh O Hanlon (presentation wexford) got 2nd place in All Ireland schools girls junior hammer with a great throw of 38:10m. Padraig Hore was 6th in the Inter boys Shot with a throw of 13 08m. Well done to both.
