Due to unforeseen circumstances Rathangan Church will not reopen until further notice. Weekend Masses will continue in Duncormick Church. Apologies for any inconvenience.
There was no winner of last week's jackpot of €3,900. The winning numbers were 13,16,27,30. Congratulations to the 2 match 3 winners who each receive €150. The winners were, Paul McDonnell and Wm. Whitmore. The next jackpot stands at €4,200 and the draw will take place on Tuesday 23rd June at 8:30pm.
Forth Walking Group
The Wednesday evening walks this month are as follows: Wednesday 24th June: The Raven, all meets at the new time of 7p.m. Look forward to seeing you there, new walkers always welcome.
Duncormick Area Action Group has once again entered this year's Tidy Town's Competition with judging from June-August. We are appealing to everyone to help us in obtaining better results this year and be proud of our village. We would also like to ask everyone to use the litter bins provided in the village.
SOUTH EAST STROLLERS
We meet every Monday evening at 7pm, (except Bank Holidays and weather permitting). During this fine weather we will meet every 3rd Monday at a different location. The Strollers receive a text message with relevant details. We have some lovely trails and loops in Wexford all within a short distance. On the other Mondays we meet at Rathangan Hall at 7.00pm, stroll for 35-45 mins.
We have a cup of tea/ coffee and most importantly a chat afterward. We would like to invite anyone who would like to get out for a stroll/walk, who may have very low fitness levels but would like to get active and fit. Our strolls are designed to cater for many fitness levels. Please contact any of our 3 Irish Heart Foundation Trained Community Walking Leaders for more info. GAA Cúl Camp
This year's Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp for both boys and girls covering Football, Hurling and Camogie will take place in St. Anne's GAA Club Grounds from 20th to 24th of July. Children will get to learn GAA games from qualified coaches in a safe and fun environment. Children from 6 to 13 years can be registered online at www.gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps . Cost of Cúl Camp this year is as follows: 1st Child €55, 2nd Child €45, 3rd & 4th Child €40 each.

Women Shed: Mondays 10-1. €5 A new social group for women of all ages started recently. The group have amazing plans for a wide variety of activities from crafts, baking, books, sewing, furniture restoration, dancing, drama, and a whole lot more. ALL IRELAND HOME COOK
The Bannow & Rathangan Show have teamed up with The Irish Shows Association (ISA) and the Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland (ACBI) to launch a new competition called "The All Ireland Home Cook" and are looking for someone who can demonstrate 'Creativity with Irish Ingredients'.
If you are passionate about Irish produce and local sourcing and you've always fancied yourself as a bit of a natural in the kitchen visit www.craftbutchers.ie or www.irishshows.org to fill out our application form and give us a taste of why you think you should be crowned Home Cook 2015! Cook off will take place at the Bannow & Rathangan Show on July 9th with TV3's celebrity Chef Adrian.
We extend sympathy to the following families who have suffered bereavements recently.
The Walsh Family, Lifeboat Terrace, on the passing of Ann on May 20th. Ann (nee Long) a native of Orristown, came to Rosslare Harbour in 1969 to work in the Great Southern Hotel. She was a very gentle and caring lady, but had been in failing health for some time. Ann is deeply missed by her husband Brendan, daughter Patricia, son Andrew, daughter-in-law Vicky, grandsons Toby, Corey and Finley, brother David, sisters Margaret, Mary, Theresa and Susan, uncle, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Ann was predeceased by her brother Tom.
Condolences to the Ferguson family, The Forge, Kilrane, on the death of Richie who passed away on May 27th. Richie was the youngest of a large family and farmed locally all his life. His favourite pastime was a game of darts. Deepest sympathy to his wife Joyce, step daughters, Millie, Jackie and Tracey, sister Lucy, brother-in-law Tony, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Richie was predeceased by his stepdaughter Kay.
Condolences also to the Power family, Ballycronigan, Kilrane who suffered a double bereavement on the deaths of Madge on May 24th and her daughter Betty on May 29th. Madge (nee Stewart) was the oldest of a large family and a native of Our Lady's Island Parish. She was a very sociable lady and loved a game of cards. She was most happy attending her garden, which was always well manicured and greatly admired. Madge was predeceased by her husband Ger.
Betty grew up in Rosslare Harbour and moved to Dublin. She would spend many weekends visiting her mother in Ballycronigan. Betty is remembered fondly as a very softly spoken and gentle lady, who bore her illness with great fortitude.
Madge and Betty are deeply missed by the Power and Dann families. Maxine, Carmel, Fintan, Des, Denise, Gillian, John, Eben, Peader, Marie, Violet, Jason, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers-law, sisters-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May they all rest in Peace.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, 7th July at 3.00pm, at the Hotel Rosslare. There will be committee at 2.00pm at the same location.
2015 ARA Holiday: This year the holiday will be to the Castle Hotel, Macroom, Co Cork, on 31st August, 2015, with Joe O'Brien. Prices for 5 days/4 nights are €315 PPS and €355 single. Our Monthly sponsored Seniors on Thursday brought out the crowds to a Sun splashed St Helens. Well done to Donal and Terry on winning the prizes kindly sponsored by Donal O'Murchu and Moira Slevin. Next Saturday belongs to our Presidents, Pat Murphy and Mary McCormack. Following what should prove to be a great day's golf, the Prize giving dinner will commence at 7.30pm. We wish Pat and Mary well, and look forward to a wonderful days entertainment. The 4th July is getting ever closer, the excitement is mounting, don't dare miss it !

ROSSLARE RANGERS F.C

We will be having our annual BBQ and Presentation Day for all Under Age teams in the Field on 27th June from 12 - 4 pm. All are welcome. Feile Weekend: Feile Na Peil kicks into full swing on Friday next 26th June, we are hosting a team from Philadelphia and its going to be an action packed weekend for the u14 boys their managers and the club. This is a very special event in the GAA year and it will be a wonderful experience for the boys as Feiles don't come around every year in your own county. We would extend an invitation to anyone who would like to visit our complex over the weekend and support the u14 boys team to come along on Friday evening or Saturday morning and be part of a fantastic event!

St Mary's Camogie Club are running a clothes collection at the complex from now until September 1st. If you are having a clear out we would love if you would consider giving your unwanted items to the ladies. The bags of clothes will be weighed and the money raised will go directly back into the Camogie club for their players. The clothes will then be recycled.

The End of Year 5th & 6th Class Disco is on Friday 26th June from 7-9pm.
