Congratulations OLI/St Fintans u-14 football team on their fantastic performance in the Feile Peil Shield Final on Sunday afternoon when they defeated Derry Gaels on a scoreline of 3-9 to 1-3 in Ballinakill, Co. Wicklow. Great credit is due to everyone involved in what was a truly memorable week-end for hundreds of children and young people.
The Annual Patrons in Tacumshane will take place as follows: Churchtown-Friday, July 10th at 7.30 pm. Tacumshane graveyard-Sunday, July 12th at 2.30 pm, and followed by the Garden Party at the Parochial House. Raffle tickets are now on sale from committee members-your continued support for our Church will be much appreciated. Complimentary home baking for the Garden Party would be very much appreciated.

Church Gate Collection
St. Mary's Day Care Centre, Tagoat, will hold their Annual Church gate collection next weekend 4th & 5th July. Your support for this worthy cause would as always be greatly appreciated.

There was no winner of last week's jackpot of €4,200. The winning numbers were 21,23,26,27. Congratulations to the 3 match 3 winners who each receive €100. Forth Walking Group
The Wednesday evening walks for the month of July are as follows: 1st July-Kilmore Quay; 8th July-Tintern; 15th July-Forth Mountain; 22nd July-KilmoreQuay; 29th July -Tintern. All meetings at 7pm.
Duncormick Area Action Group has once again entered this year's Tidy Town's Competition with judging from June-August. We are appealing to everyone to help us in obtaining better results this year and be proud of our village. We would also like to ask everyone to use the litter bins provided in the village.
SOUTH EAST STROLLERS
We meet every Monday evening at 7pm, (except Bank Holidays and weather permitting). During this fine weather we will meet every 3rd Monday at a different location. The Strollers receive a text message with relevant details. We have some lovely trails and loops in Wexford all within a short distance. On the other Mondays we meet at Rathangan Hall at 7.00pm, stroll for 35-45 mins.
We would like to invite anyone who would like to get out for a stroll/walk, who may have very low fitness levels but would like to get active and fit. Our strolls are designed to cater for many fitness levels. Please contact any of our 3 Irish Heart Foundation Trained Community Walking Leaders for more info. GAA Cúl Camp
This year's Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp for both boys and girls covering Football, Hurling and Camogie will take place in St. Anne's GAA Club Grounds from 20th to 24th July. Children will get to learn GAA games from qualified coaches in a safe and fun environment. Children from 6 to 13 years can be registered online at www.gaa.ie/kelloggsculcamps . Cost of Cúl Camp this year is as follows: 1st Child €55, 2nd Child €45, 3rd & 4th Child €40 each.
ALL IRELAND HOME COOK
The Bannow & Rathangan Show have teamed up with The Irish Shows Association (ISA) and the Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland (ACBI) to launch a new competition called "The All Ireland Home Cook" and are looking for someone who can demonstrate 'Creativity with Irish Ingredients'.
If you are passionate about Irish produce and local sourcing and you've always fancied yourself as a bit of a natural in the kitchen visit www.craftbutchers.ie or www.irishshows.org to fill out our application form and give us a taste of why you think you should be crowned Home Cook 2015! Cook off will take place at the Bannow & Rathangan Show on 9th July with TV3's celebrity Chef Adrian.

OPEN GARDEN EVENT
On Sunday 5th July 2-5. Jim & Alice Mernagh, Moorefields (top of Starvoll lane) are holding an open garden fundraiser with all proceeds to Dogs for the Disabled. Tea and coffee / plant sale / raffle
Kilmore Senior Scout team won the Co Campcraft Shield Competition in Artramon Castlebridge from Fri to Sun, last weekend. The also won the Best Chef award and Best Campcraft & site.
The scouts had to be self sufficient all weekend, erect own tents, store tents, build gadgets from timber and sisal, do all own cooking, take on skills and fun based challenges, cook a two course meal on open fire, health and safety, hygiene, etc. They will now represent Wexford at the National Finals in Limerick in August.
Team are all under 15, Saoirse Foley PL, Callum Dove APL, Alex Brady, Niamh Bradfield, Matthew Philips, Conor Lambert, Jack Lambert.
The Junior team received a Silver award for achieving 65-85% standard over the weekend also, a fantastic achievement as all the team under 13 Cora Devlin PL, Aimee McDonnell APL, Josh Power, Shauna O Connor, Huan Er McBride, Cormac Lyons.
The scouting year ended up with a BBQ on Ballyhealy on Wednesday evening when all sections were presented with their Progression and Merit Badges, earned over the past year. Caoibhin O Byrne Co Commissioner was on hand also to present the Group with SQS Excellence Quality Scouting award.
Meetings will resume in September for everyone but the Shield team who will continue to train until August. Anyone interested in joining please contact Breda Hayes 0876858480. Places are very limited in Cub 9-11 Section, Scout 12-15 Section while there are places in Beaver 6-9 Section and Venturer 15-18 Sections. New Leaders are also welcome

Vintage run thanks
A big thank you to all parishioners who came out on Sunday 21st June and supported our Tractor Vintage, Cycle Run and Fun Walk. Also thanks to everyone who donated sandwiches and confectionery, they were greatly appreciated.
The winners of the raffle were: door prize-€50 Mona Ffrench. Raffle prizes; 1st-Martin Breen €100 Voucher for picture framing, 2nd-Millie Murphy €50 voucher for Traynors, 3rd-Paddy Murphy Bottle of Champagne, 4th-Billy Gaynor Bottle of wine, 5th-Peg Monaghan (Scurlogue) Chocolates.
