Oulart-The Ballagh GAA Annual "Mid-Summer" Barn Dance that was held in Cooney's store, Raheenduff was an outstanding success. Great credit is due to all the voluntary workers who worked so hard to ensure that a good night was had by all.
As well as that, the club's finances were boosted by the profits on the Barn Dance, providing funds that will be used to maintain and develop facilities and assist in meeting the day-to-day-expenses that are a feature of every GAA club. Míle buíochas do chách.

Maureen & Jimmy Wade's Sumobi Kennels are to be congratulated, once again, on the latest amazing achievement of their Italian Greyhound "Willow" who was so successful in the Dublin Championship recently. Under a female judge from Portugal "Willow" took Green Star Bitch and Best of Breed. Following that, under an Australian judge, she took second in the group.
In contrast, "Willow's" sister and kennel-mate "Poppy" stubbornly refused to show, despite Maureen's best efforts! Jimmy Wade wishes to thank all the neighbours and friends for all their help and good wishes during his recent stay in hospital. Special thanks to Anne and John who did so much. Thankfully, Jimmy is now at home and well on the road to recovery.
