There was no winner of last week's jackpot of €6,300. The winning numbers were 6,13,29,30. Congratulations to the 4 match 3 winners who each receive €75. They were; Alan O'Shea, Peter Furlong, Martyn Hyde, Kathleen Cooney. The next jackpot stands at €6,600 and the draw will take place on Tuesday 18th August at 8.30pm.
Fastnet Rovers AFC
Fastnet Rovers AFC will hold a Camp Night on Saturday August 22nd at 6pm followed by a Fun Day on Sunday 23rd from 10am. BBQ equipment, food and entertainment will be provided on the night, bring your tent and your family. The fun day will include Bouncy Castles, soccer, music and entertainment. €20 per family for both and €10 for fun day only. More details on facebook.
Parent Meeting - Fastnet Rovers will hold a Parents Information meeting on August 22nd at 6pm (in conjunction with our Camp night, more details on Facebook). We ask all Parents to attend to hear from Team Managers/Coaches and the Committee on plans for the coming season including training plans, game time, player & club development and much more. We look forward to seeing you there.

The Golden Eagles
The Golden Eagles had The Captains Day last Sunday in Carrigleade. Wonderful weather and a great turnout and fantastic golf. Jim Mackie won the Captain's Prize with Trevor Jones 2nd, Paul Roche 3rd , Johnny Doyle coming 4th and Stephen Bennett 5th. Birdie Clubs and nearest the pins were also won by many others We are off to Dungarvan next for our week away so enjoy and good golfing
The Irish Agricultural Museum will host the 2015 Open Potato Championship as part of the Annual Gardening Show on September 12th & 13th. Also in the Show this year keen gardeners from across Wexford can exhibit their homegrown fruit, flowers and vegetables. Schedules are now available from Mary Ellen on 086 244 1935.
The next dance in Carrig on Bannow community centre is on Friday August 21st from 9.30pm-12 midnight. Music by John Hogan admission €8 teas and refreshments served. There will also be a raffle on the night all proceeds going to our St Patrick's Day parade which we hold annually in our village. We hope you can support this great night. 5K Fun Run/Walk
The day is fast approaching for the inaugural Fun Run in Tomhaggard which takes place Sunday August 23rd at 11am. Registration takes place 9.30-10.30 in Social Centre, cost Adults €10, child €5 Family €20.
There's Pony Rides (bring bicycle helmet), face painting, a Monster Raffle, Refreshments after the Run, and spot prizes Galore for competitors, thanks to the generous sponsorship of many businesses in the locality.
Eimear and Sarah have put a huge amount of work into organising this day and it promises to start your Sunday off in style so come along and join in the fun.
The playschool will reopen on Monday August 31st at 9.30 am. Enrollments will take place on the morning.There are still places available for the free preschool year (ECCE scheme). Places also for younger children at €10 per morning. All welcome on the morning to view our facility and meet other parents and staff. A 3 week baby reflexology class is starting in Kilmore Quay on Thursday August 27th at 11am. Learn simple reflexology and massage techniques to help ease digestive issues, soothe and comfort, increase bonding and improve immunity.

Off to All Ireland
The Scout team of Saoirse Foley PL, Callum Dove APL,Alex Brady, Haley Power,Niamh Bradfield, Matthew Philips, Conor Lamber and Jack Lambert are off to Limerick on Wednesday next to take part in the All Ireland Scoutcraft Competition which takes place from August 20th-23rd inclusive.
They will be joined by Rachel Brady Venturer and Nick Hayes Scouter who will be on Staff for the competition. The Junior team will join them on Saturday to cheer them on in the Trek Cart Race and other weekend activities.
Over 100 teams from 32 counties, approx 1000 scouts, will be taking part so it is a fantastic achievement just to be part of it, meet new people, learn new skills and create memories to last a lifetime.
Kilmore last qualified in 2001 so the excitement in the Group is palpable as the team have worked hard since winning the Co Competition in June, updating their skills.
The Group would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported their various fund raising events over the past few weeks which has made it all possible. Good Luck Team

On Thursday 20th August the Irish Blood Transfusion Services are back in our complex in Tagoat and will host its 4th Clinic to date, please come out and donate a unit of blood, it just might save a life. The Clinic is open 5pm to 8:30pm.
Camogie Club news
St Mary's Camogie Club are running a clothes collection at the complex from now until September 1st. If you are having a clear out, we would love if you would consider giving your unwanted items to the ladies. The bags of clothes will be weighed and the money raised will go directly back into the Camogie club for their players. The clothes will then be recycled. Thank you.

ST. MARY'S DAY CARE
Thank You: Thank you to everyone who supported our stalls at the Steam Rally. It is through the generosity of the local community that we are able to continue our essential services.
Donations: We are asking for donations for our upcoming events. Any unwanted gifts, drink (Alcoholic and non-alcoholic), new or good as new items or clothes would be greatly appreciated. You can drop items into the centre or If you have items and want us to collect them please call on 053-9132624.
Day Services: We currently have a few vacant places for Day Services on a Friday. We offer breakfast on arrival, card games, chat, TV, etc... On to lunch time then, this consists of a 3 course meal, and in the afternoon we have some lively music entertainment, Karaoke or pongo and finally at the end of an exciting and entertaining day we have some afternoon tea with a cake/bun before going home.

TAGOAT STEAM RALLY
A big thank you to everyone who made the Steam Rally such a success. A great day was had by all who attended and we look forward to an even better day in 2016.
