The annual craft Fair is on Sunday 6th December in Murrintown Community Centre from 10am to 5pm. Come along to browse through a Wonderful array of handmade local crafts and pick up some unique Christmas gifts, enjoy a cuppa with a bite of something nice and maybe win one of our fabulous door prizes.
One of Wexford's best known craft fairs now in our 10th year running. Crafts this year include photography, wood turning, jewellery, home baking, and Christmas crafts, to name but a few and there's even an opportunity to relax with a head and shoulder massage.

Chris Culleton will hold a Clothes (including Shoes,Belts,Bed Linen,Towels & Curtins) and Laptop & Mobile Phone collection in St. Martins GAA Club on Saturday 12th December. If you need further information or want items collected contact Chris on 086 8476116.
There is a table quiz on Friday 27th November in Jordans of Murrintown at 8.30pm. All funds raised will are in aid of the Piercestown Murrintown Senior Citizens Christmas Party.
There is a flower arranging demonstration evening by Lily Bloom florist in aid of Wexford Swimming Club on Wednesday 2nd December at 7.30pm in Piercestown Guide and Scout hall. Cost is €10 per ticket, door prize, raffle and light refreshments. Everyone welcome, come along for festive floral inspiration and a fun evening. Our Lady's Island
A Coffee Morning will be held in Tacumshane Old School on Sunday next, 29th November after 10am Mass. Proceeds in aid of Tacumshane Church funds-your support will be very much appreciated.
On Tuesday 17th November cards were played by candlight due to the power cut. Jimmy Devereux led the way with 4 games, followed by Max Sinnott + Margaret Doyle in second place with 3 each. Fintan Carroll won the T-Bones. Cards every Tuesday night in the Old School Hall at 8.30pm sharp, fee €5 winner takes % pot, house prize for all, tea coffee and biscuits. All welcome
The monthly Community Coffee Morning will take place this Thursday, 26th November in the Community Hall from 10.30a.m. to 12 noon. As this is the last one before Christmas mince pies etc will be served. Do come along for the goodies and chat.
Seniors Christmas Party
Christmas party for the Senior Citizens of Our Lady's Island/Tacumshane will take place on Sunday, 6th December in the Riverbank House Hotel. Bridgetown College will hold its Enrolment Day for the incoming 1st years for September 2016 on Saturday, 28th November from 9.30a.m. to 1p.m.
Our Lady's Island Christmas Fair will take place after Mass on Sunday, 6th December. If you would like to book a stall please call 087-2437103.
Santa is also making a visit and is super excited about meeting the kids of Our Lady's Island. He hasn't received all letters at the moment but he will take your letter happily on the day!! Look forward to seeing you all. Proceeds in aid of Paisti Beaga Playschool.
The November meeting of Lady's Island I.C.A. had a very good attendance. Good wishes were extended to those who are sick in the parish and sympathy to those who had been bereaved since the last meeting.
The recent Hospice Coffee morning was very successful and yielded €420 for Hospice Homecare. Thanks to all who supported the event and the Denis & Marie O'Doherty for the use of their premises.
It was decided to have our Christmas night out in the Lobster Pot-date to be agreed at next meeting.
Laois Davis brought along her beautiful patchwork and various types of needlework-beautiful bedspreads, table cloths, cushion covers etc. All were in awe of the beautiful work.
The raffle was won by Dee, Angela and Reenie. The night came to an end with a very enoyable cuppa and chat. The next meeting will be on Monday, 14th December.
Christmas with the Crew
You are invited to a Christmas get together with the crew of Rosslare Harbour Lifeboat.
The crew will join us for a chat and a festive cuppa at the Rosslare Harbour Maritime Heritage Centre on Friday 11th of December at 8pm after their lifeboat exercise. Why not pop in and say hello, we would be delighted to see you.
Lifeboat Community Mass The Annual Lifeboat community mass will be celebrated on Saturday 19th December at 7pm in St. Patricks Church, Rosslare Harbour. Refreshments will be served afterwards with compliments of Cafe Lilys.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, 1st December, 2015 at 3.00pm, at the Hotel Rosslare. There will be committee at 2.00pm at the same location.
Date for your Diary: Thursday, 10th December-Our annual Christmas Dinner at the Hotel Rosslare at 7.00pm. Tickets are €18 each for KHARG members and €23 each for non members. Jim or Mairead will be in the Foyer of the Hotel Rosslare between 11.00am and 12.00noon on Friday 27th November and on Friday, 4th December, 2015.
Our thanks go to all of those who supported our Quiz Night on the 12th November. A total of €400 was raised and this will be divided between the RNLI and St Mary's Day Centre. Our thanks also go to McAuley Chemists for their support.

CHRISTMAS DRAW 2015: Tickets are now on sale for our Annual Christmas Draw which will be held on 21st Dec 2015. The St Patrick's Conference of St Vincent de Paul will hold their annual Christmas collection in Murphy's Supervalu this Friday 27th November and after masses in Kilrane and Rosslare Harbour on the weekend 5th & 6th December.
There will also be a Vincent de Paul trolley for donations of non perishable goods at Murphy's Supervalu, Theresa's Convenience Store and Quickpick during the month of December. All donations collected are distributed within our local community. Your continued support would be very much appreciated.

The Annual Christmas Craft Fair in Scoil Mhuire Rosslare in aid of our School Orchestra will take place this year on Sunday 6th December from 10am to 1pm. This event has become the annual start to the Christmas Season in Rosslare and we look forward to seeing many familiar faces again this year.
