Lou Duggan & Michael Ridgeway have started a Children's Choir, they practice after 10.30am Mass on Sunday mornings in the church, if you would like your child to be part of this choir just be there at that time.
The pupils of Adamstown National School put on their Christmas Concert in St Abban's Hall on Tuesday night last, to a large appreciative audience of family and friends. Opening the show was the school band who performed some seasonal carols and music with Ms Delaney. Up next were the dancers from Junior Infants upwards under the leadership of Ann Marie Cooney. The second half of the show the children performed the Nativity Play directed by Paul Walsh.
The whole show was very good, with all the children really putting their hearts into their performance and the audience thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A word of thanks to the following: Mr Senan Lillis & staff of Colaiste Abbain for the use of the hall, the Fas team who helped set up the hall, Ann Marie & Paul who worked hard over the past number of months to stage the show.
A massive thanks to the Parents Association who organised the raffle, and did great work on the night looking after tickets, raffle, spot prizes etc., thank you so much to the very generous sponsors of the many prizes that were on offer. Wishing all parents and students and their families a Happy and Peaceful Christmas.
Horse Charity Ride
A Horse Charity Ride will take place on Sunday 3rd January 2016, starting in Camross at 10.00am. Suitable for all ages. Part of the day's proceeds will go to Adamstown National School. Further details later
Coláiste Abbáin, Adamstown recently held an information evening with regards to new entrants for the 2016-2016 school year. The meeting was very well attended and established that there is a significant interest in Coláiste Abbáin and the new facilities, which will come on stream after the Easter holidays 2016. With the opening of the new school in 2016, applicants to Coláiste Abbáin undoubtedly will increase.
We are currently enrolling for the 2016 First Year in-take and welcome completed application forms up to and including 23rd January 2016. Please note that the maximum number being enrolled into First year is 60 and the practice of "first come, first served" will apply. The school will hold Assessment Day on Saturday 23rd January 2016 at 10.00am. Meanwhile should you have any queries please contact the main office on 053 9240564.

Athletic Club News
Adamstown Athletic Club will have their annual awards night in the Community Centre on Sunday 3rd January 2016. We look forward to seeing everyone there on the night.
The club will be hosting a fashion show in the Horse and Hound on Friday 19th February 2016. The event kicks off at 8pm sharp. The fashion show will feature the latest fashion from Lulu's Boutique, Si Jolie Boutique, The Loft Wexford , Wallaces Wellingtonbridge and French and Danish clothing lines provided by Helen. Entertainment on the night by DJ Liam Sharkey. Proceeds on the night will go to the Athletic Club and to Console. Tickets are €10 and are now on sale. Please support.

Any information such as weddings, anniversary's, special occasions, forth coming events, stories and prayers are always most welcome. Well done to the staff of Clonroche NS along with Céim A HAon playschool, who put on 2 wonderful performances on Wednesday and Thursday last in Clonroche Community Centre. Congratulations to all the children who were brilliant, each class performing great song and dance routines, comedy, music groups and Irish dancing.
Thanks to all involved, and to the hall committee for use of the hall for rehearsals and the performances. DVDs will be available shortly, with proceeds going to the Playschool and NS, please contact the school office to place orders.
The local vintage club will hold their annual St Stephens Day Tractor Run again this year, Leaving from the Community Centre at 12.30 traveling to Aughyvoiur in Poulpeasty, this years charity run is in aid of the ISPCA. For further information please contact Leo Tector.

Lotto: Last draw took place in Aughyvouir last Saturday night December 12th and there were no Match Threes just 4 Lucky Dip winners. Barry Keating, Ray French, Enda Kennedy, Tomás Furlong. AGMs: All club AGMs have taken place and overall very good reports on the year just past with good attendances at all meetings. There are a few positions at Adult level-some officer and managers posts not filled but will be filled at the earliest opportunity by the new committees. Congratulations to all our teams who competed so well in 2015 and especially to those who brought home the honours this year and the very best of luck for 2016. We look forward to our dinner dance and presentations at later date sometime in February.
Scoreboard: We are all looking forward to seeing our new digital scoreboard put in place, a testament to the efforts of the many teams and organisers involved in The Fittest Family fundraiser earlier in 2015.

Our Annual General Meeting took place on Sunday 6th December. Officers elected are as follows: Chairman: Paul Barron, Secretary: Shane Barron, Treasurer: Sinead Flynn, PRO: Katie Reddy. Senior Manager: Kevin Ryan and Selectors: John Conran, Robbie Ronan & Mick O'Leary. Intermediate Manager: Alan Coleman, Junior A Manager: Ciaran Morrissey, Junior B Manager: Pat Codd. Thanks to all outgoing officers and best of luck to those elected for the coming year.
Club Lotto: The numbers drawn last Tuesday 15th: 6, 8, 28, 32. There was no jackpot winner. Grace Hearn Cowman, Ballindoney, Nancy Hayden, Ballyleigh, Stephanie Byrne, Enniscorthy and Seamus Roche, c/o: Bingo were the four match three winners who each won €50. The jackpot this Tuesday night is €12,400
Templeudigan Ladies Committee would like to thank Fr. Brian, Peter Somers, Parish Council and all the guests for coming to the Christmas Party. Also to Eddie, Hazel and daughter who supplied the music and song after a lovely lunch and afternoon tea. Guests were pleased and appreciative and send a big thank you to the Ladies Committee.
Stephen's Day Walk/Run
An 8KM Fun Walk and Run will be held in Templeudigan on St. Stephen's Day as a fundraising event for Templeudigan Park. Registration for this community event is €10 and will take place at Templeudigan hall from 11am to 11.45am on St. Stephen's morning. The walk and run will commence at 12pm from the hall. This promises to be a fun family event and will be a great chance to walk off the Christmas dinner while enjoying some fantastic views with neighbours and friends.
Templeudigan Handball Club held their AGM a couple of weeks ago. Bingo is on every Tuesday night at 8.30pm in Rathnure hall. On this Tuesday night there are sit-beside prizes to be won as it is Christmas.
There will be Christmas Eve Vigil Mass in St Aidan's Church Tullogher on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. Then at 8 p.m. Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Assumption Rosbercon and there again on Christmas Day at 11 a.m. Mass in st David's Church Mullinarrigle will be on Christmas Morning at 9.30 a.m.
The Annual Giving Tree is situated in Rosbercon Church again this year. Gifts placed on it are brought to the elderly patients of the two local Hospitals in New Ross. People are asked to take a tag from the tree and return the gift requested thereon before 31st December. It is vitally important that this closing date schedule is kept to in order to deliver the gifts to the patients in good time.
Over 55's Mass
There was a good attendance at the Parish Mass and Anointing of the Sick in the Parish Hall on Sunday the 13th of December. Fr Dan Cavanagh was the celebrant of the Mass and the musical interlude was given by the church choir under the baton of Jackie Stacey. The event was organised by the Parish Pastoral Council the refreshments afterwards were served by the Ladies Committee.
Tullogher Rosbercon Intermediate hurlers were put in a tough section when the draws were made for the Kilkenny League/Championship competition 2016. They face Lisdowney, Carrickshock, Thomastown, Dunamaggin and St Lactain's (Freshford) in what is without doubt a formidable task to gain enough points per game in the league in order to advance further in the championship.
St Vincent De Paul
The postponed collection in aid of the above will take place in St Aidan's Church Tullogher during the Christmas Eve Mass at 6 p.m. Please be as generous as possible to this local charity helping local people.
