Here's how it works: Bring the whole family down to the track at Crossabeg Community Centre. After a 10 minute warm up, a bell will be rung and you can walk/jog/run at your own pace around the track.
After 30 minutes the bell will ring again and you will note from the nearest distance marker how many laps you have completed. Continue to the finish line and submit your distance to our team of 'Bell Betweeners'. We will track your progress over a 10-week period.
You will receive a chart with your individual progress outlined as well as a chart that tracks the entire community=92s progress. We are aiming to improve the community's collective fitness by 10% in 10 weeks.
The fit-fun starts at 6.30pm on Tuesday January 19th with registration and weigh-in and finishes on Easter Monday 28th March. A weekly €2 charge will apply. Crossabeg Ballymurn Ladies football club provides football for girls from Oylegate, Glenbrien, Crossabeg & Ballymurn parishes.
