The weekly '30 Card Game continues in the Community Centre this Friday 1st April at 9pm. Thanks to the ladies for the teas last week. Catering on Fri 1st April will be: Betty Cullen, Lorna Komsa & Mary Kirwan. Proceeds going to Parish Funds. Catering on Fri 8th will be: Gillian O'Neill, Edel Doyle, Ann Marie O'Shea & Geraldine Thorpe. On Fri 15th will be: Breda Bradley, Geraldine Bradley, Kay McCabe & Angela Harrington. On Friday 22nd will be: Breda Kelly, Valerie Kelly, Christine Mackey, Ann O'Brien & Eileen Moran.

ADAMSTOWN ATHLETIC CLUB
Well done to Marguerite Furlong on winning the All-Ireland Indoor U17 Girls Shot Putt with a throw of 12.09m. Well done to Shannon Wall who competed in the All-Ireland Indoor U18 Girls Triple Jump and finished in 6th place. Congratulations girls on great performances.
Day 2 of the CMC League took place at the Sportshub in Enniscorthy last Friday evening. There was some great performances from our younger athletes. Well done to our youngest athlete on the night Áine Crean competing in the U8 Girls and to Laura O'Gorman competing in the U10 Girls. There was tough competition in the U10 Boys with Ross English, Watt Crean, Stephen Power, Jack O'Shea and Joe Whelan. Well done to Grainne English competing in the U11 Girls and to Ciara Mooney, Isobel English, Niamh English, Clodagh English and Abbie Carthy Walsh all competing in the U12 Girls. Well done to Katie English competing in the U13 Girls, Ella English in the U14 Girls, Kate Jackman in the U15 Girls, Tara Doyle and Sonia Mooney competing in the U16 Girls and Triona Mooney in the U17 Girls. Day 3 of the CMC League is on Friday 1st April in the Sportshub Enniscorthy 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Our Annual Sponsored Walk/Run will be held in Carrigbyrne on Sunday 24th April 2016 at 11:30 am. Sponsorship cards will be given out to all the athletes at training over the next week.
SHAMROCK VINTAGE CLUB
The Shamrock Vintage Club will hold the Pat Byrne Memorial Road Run on Sunday 3rd April starting in Adamstown at 1pm. Registration at 12 noon. Returning to the Community Centre for a hot meal afterwards. The proceeds this year will go to the New Ross Community
Hospital who are undertaking a major building programme and are in need of funds. All insured vehicles are welcome, contributions much appreciated. Next meeting this Tuesday 29th March at 9pm.
CAMROSS DRAMA GROUP
Rehearsals for the three act comedy "It's the real Mc Coy" by Camross Drama Group continues, lines being learned, stage being built, and props being collected. Performance dates are as follows: Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April in St Michaels Hall, Wexford. Sunday 17th April Camross Hall. Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd April, Horse and Hound, Ballinaboola. Saturday 30th April and Sunday 1st May St Mary's Hall, Fethard on Sea. All shows start at 8pm. Admission €10. Camross Drama Group may be found on facebook for updates.

ANNUAL LOURDES DRAW
Tickets are currently on sale in the Parish for our Annual Lourdes Draw which takes place on Sunday 3rd April at 10.30am Mass. The Pilgrimage takes place from 17th - 22nd May 2016. With your generosity we hopefully will be able to send three parishioners on this pilgrimage. Tickets cost €5 each and any household may purchase up to 4 tickets. Please be as generous as you can. The cost of the tickets has remained the same for many years now, notwithstanding the cost of the Pilgrimage has increased significantly, this year the cost for a ticket is €700.
The death occurred recently of Mary Kavanagh (nee Heffernan, Ballyshannon). To her husband Nicholas, daughter May, mother Celia, brothers Seamus and Danny, sister Margaret and many relatives and friends in the area our deepest sympathy. Mary's funeral mass was celebrated in Mayglass Church recently with burial in Mayglass Cemetery. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Our Sympathy also to Tommy O'Connor and family, Misterin on the death of his aunt, Mrs Mary Anne Maher, at the age of 104. Her funeral Mass was celebrated recently in Ramsgrange Church, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. May she rest in peace.
BEARD & HEAD SHAVE
Pat Walsh, Tomgarrow who had a 'Full Head & Beard Shave' in Brad Og's on Friday 11th March for Special Olympics would like to thank all those who sponsored him. To Margo who with a scissors & trimmer made him look 15 years younger. To Bernie for the venue and to all those who came along on the night, for the fun and laughs. We never knew there was so many 'wits' in Adamstown. Pat raised €613 for Special Olympics and he is very grateful for your support. Thank you all so very much
On Tuesday 15th March in lovely weather, together with every other Primary School in Ireland, we celebrated Proclamation Day. Before raising our National Flag at 12 noon, the children provided entertainment for parents/grandparents. Opening the event was the school band, followed by greetings in Gaeilge.
Reading of the New Proclamation, which was put together by the senior children. We had Irish Dancing, singing "The Foggy Dew" and "Tricolour Ribbon", followed by a class Ceili and reading of the poem "The Mother written by P H Pearse. Acting Principal Mrs Carroll told of the origins of the Irish Flag and what it meant to the nation.
The flag was then blessed by Fr Nolan, and raised by the oldest and youngest pupils in the school, all present then sang Amhran na bhFiann. The parents association kindly provided teas and refreshments for the adults. It was a lovely day for the school and children
Castle Vintage Club
Castle Vintage Club are holding a meeting in the Scout Hall, Taghmon on Friday 8th April. All those travelling on the 3 day run please attend this meeting to confirm your place.
Our intermediate footballers beat The Duffry in the League on Saturday 1-12 to 2-7. Our minor hurlers lost to Geraldine O'Hanrahans on Sunday 3-12 to 2-11.
Thanks to those who attended the club dinner dance on Friday night last. Thanks to The Riverbank House Hotel for a great meal and Soul Trak for the music. Also a big thanks to Kilkenny legend, Richie Power for attending and presenting medals to our double premier winning U21 teams.

Penny bank collections for 2016 have recommenced in both Crossabeg and Ballymurn. Collections in Ballymurn take place in Ballymurn Hall after Mass on Saturday night and Sunday morning.
Ballymurn Hall Committee are holding fundraisers to purchase a Defibrillator for our community: QUIZ NIGHT in the Anvil Lounge on Friday 1st April; BINGO NIGHT in Ballymurn Hall on Thursday 28th April. Your support for this very important lifesaving equipment would be much appreciated by all.
The Over The Water Vintage Club are holding their Spring Road Run on Sunday 10th April. This is aid of Ballymurn Aquired Brian Injury Ireland starting from Ballymurn Village at 12 30pm. Your generous support, sponsorship, stewarding and catering is sought and will be greatly appreciated for this worthy cause.
Together with our visiting guests on tractore, bike and bikes we can make this day enjoyable, fruitful and memorable.
Ballymurn Heritage Group would like to express our gratitude to all the artists who provided the entertainment for our function on St Patrick's night in Ballymurn hall. Gorta Self Help Africa
A Church Gate Collection in aid of Gorta Self Help Africa will take place at St. Patrick's Church, Oulart on Saturday 2nd April and on Sunday 3rd April. Your usual generosity would be greatly appreciated.
Oulart-The Ballagh encourages and invites all supporters and all members of the community to join the club and become involved in one of the most successful and progressive clubs in the country. All adult players, members and intending members are reminded that membership fees for 2016 are now due and should be paid before 31st March. Membership will be accepted at any time during the year but entitlement to a vote at the next AGM will depend on adhering to the deadline of the end of March.
Oulart- The Ballagh Camogie Club presents 'The Pull', a comedy show from Half Solid Productions, a company established by Liam Horan, former GAA correspondent with the Irish Independent and Mayo writer and actor John Corless. The show is set in a fictional local GAA club which is in debt and is endeavouring to solve the problem!
The show has been performed all over Ireland with fantastic reviews and this is its first outing in Co. Wexford. The event is kindly sponsored by Corrigan's Spar, Oulart. The show takes place in The Riverside Park Hotel on Sunday 17th April. Tickets cost €15 or €40 family rate (2 adults & 2 children U18).
Tickets are available from all players and committee members. A great night of laughs & entertainment is guaranteed.
Lifestyle transformation, organised by Oulart-The Ballagh Camogie Club started on Good Friday at 7pm in Oulart Community Centre when the "Group weigh-in" took place. Registration is 10 euro per person. Please contact Bridget at 087 9142899. Now that Spring has really arrived Lifestyle Transformation is an ideal way to get out and get fit.
Camogie Coaching Course
A Foundation course will commence on Friday 1st April (7.00 pm to 9.30 pm) and continue on Saturday 2nd April from 10.00 to 1.30pm in the Upper Complex in Oulart. This is a free course for paid up members aged 16 years and upwards. This is an opportunity not to be missed and the club would love as many as possible to undertake this course. If you are interested in availing of this course please reply to the Camogie phone.
There will be youth club in the community centre on this Friday evening April 1st from 8.00pm to 10.00pm. The supervisors for the evening are Caroline Cosgrave, Bernie Byrne, Tony Moulton, Annette Nolan, Billy Mernagh, and Patricia Casey.
Oylegate/Glenbrien ploughing association will hold a county dinner dance on Saturday April 9th in the Ferrycarrig Hotel. Ploughing awards will be awarded on the night. Bingo is held every Thursday evening in the Big Tree Lounge Glenbrien at 9.00pm. All proceeds to Glenbrien Village renewal group.
Hope and Dream 10k/10m
The hope and dream 10k/10m run will be held on Sunday April 10th commencing at 10.15am. All proceeds from the event will go to County Wexford Hospice and the Hope Centre in Enniscorthy. If people could sign up as soon as possible
Oylegate N.S. are now taking enrolments for September 2016. Please call to the school office any time from 9am to 3pm.
The Adult teams are in Ballymurn on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm. All new and past players are welcome. The U-14's are continuing every Wednesday in Ballymurn from 6.30 to 7.30. The U-12 training is on Sundays in Crossabeg pitch at 11.00 am.
There was no winner of the lotto jackpot held in the Mernagh's Lounge, Oylegate on Wednesday March 16th. The lucky dip winners were Marguerite Bolger, Seamus Allen, MJ Reck, Annmarie Nolan, Abby Walsh, Tracey Harpur, Mick Walsh.
