Best wishes are extended to Aubrey Fuller (Barntown) who celebrated his birthday recently in the Ferrycarrig Hotel. Aubrey's family travelled from the UK to ensure his 'surprise' 90th birthday was one he would always remember. He was joined by his 87-year-old brother Brigadier DJ Fuller and his children Caroline, John and Rachel.
His daughter Charlotte was unfortunately unable to attend the get-together. Enjoying the celebration also were Aubrey's eight grandchildren and sons in law and daughter in law. Aubrey was also joined by some of the staff members from Aubrey's local shop O'Brien's Londis, Larkin's Cross. We wish Aubrey all the best in his 90th year.
Congratulations to both Glynn National School and Barntown National School who both secured their places in the semi-finals of the Rackard league. Good luck in the next round lads.
