The late Jean Deacon
Sincere sympathy is extended t the brother in law, sisters in law, relations and friends of Jean Deacon, Clonmore House who died on Tuesday last. He remains were interred in the churchyard of St John's Church on Friday last following her Funeral service.

Bree Youth Club
Bree Youth Club will be running a split-the-pot draw to help raise funds for activities for club members. All proceeds will be split 50/50 between the winner and the club. The winner will be announced on the last Friday of each month. Keep a lookout for our envelopes in the local shops around Bree and support your local youth club.
The senior summer trip for next year will take place from Friday the 14th to Sunday, July 16, 2017. The trip includes return ferry from Rosslare to Fishguard, two nights in St Clear's Camping and Holiday Park, a full day in Oakwood Theme Park and other activities. The extended deadline for return of consent forms and €50 deposit is Friday, November 6.
Five senior members from Bree Youth Club, Peter Rodgers, Owen Murphy, Beth Murphy, Amy Carney and Sarah Byrne have commenced leadership training with FDYS. We look forward to them helping with Junior Club each week.

Athletic Club News
Indoor Athletic Training has resumed for the winter season on Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. for little athletes (5 to nine years) and from 7.45 p.m. to 9 p.m. for Bree AC registered athletes in Bree Hall. Outdoor training for Bree AC registered athletes takes place in Ballyhogue GAA Club grounds on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.

Wexford Drama Group will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary with a gathering in the Wexford Boat Club on Friday, November 25. Halloween Disco - Oylegate NS are holding a Halloween Disco on Monday, October 31, from two to four in Oylegate Community centre. Parents supervise their own children, have a cup of tea while you wait. All primary school children welcome.

Glenbrien Text Alert
We will be holding our AGM on Tuesday, October 18, two at 8 p.m., in the Old School Centre Glenbrien.
Our liaison guard will be in attendance on the night to talk about safety in the community and in our homes coming in to the winter months and to answer any questions that you may have.
As Sgt. Paddy Carley said when the group was established last year, It is everyone's safety at hand and it should be not be left up to a small group of people, so it is important that we get a good turn out on the night. Everyone's attendance is important.
