Having beaten Kilrush NS in the semi-final of the Allianz Cumann Na mBunscol Rackard League Roinn C boys football the combined schools of Mayglass and Broadway travelled to St Patrick's park during the past week to take on Fethard in the final with high expectations. The game started positively for the boys from the South East as they traded scores with the boys from Fethard and only trailed by apoint when the half time whistle sounded 1-3 to 0-5.
Fethard began the second half well scoring two early points but it was then the boys from the south enjoyed their best spell of the game taking the lead with just 10 minutes remaining and this lead could have been increased but for a super save from the Fethard goalkeeper. It was then that Fethard took charge and tagged on scores at will to claim the spoils on a scoreline of 3-11 to 1-7. Great stuff lads.

All Blacks AFC
All Blacks five Rosslare Strand 1. The under-10 girls will go into division one as probably one of the favourites for the title as they recorded their fourth win from four games in this win over a young Rosslare Strand side. Ciara Murphy (3) and Naomi Denton (2) scored for the home side while Lucia O'Donoghue was on target for Strand. Well done girls and manager Suzanne.
The under-11 boys had a narrow but well earned 4-3 victory over a gallant Duncannon side at Casey park with goals from Jamie, Fionn and man of the match JJ (2). Well played everyone.
The under-13 boys were back to league action and they travelled into top of the table Wexford Albion. They fell behind around the 20 minute mark. Our boys pressed hard searching for the equaliser. Tadhg McDonald came close only to be denied with a goal line clearance. The equaliser did come around the 26th minute mark when Captain Luc Farrell made no mistake from close range. The game ebbed and flowed with Ben Rossiter and Tadhg Deegan and Evan Cullen causing Albion problems. A penalty shout WAS turned down late. Lee Kelly made a fantastic stop at the death. Both teams were happy with a share of the points 1: 1. Centre back Cathal Parker was named man of the match for his outstanding display.
