GAA NEWS

Crossabeg/Ballymurn GAA club had no winner of last weeks Lotto jackpot and no match three winner. The numbers drawn were 8, 9,22 and 25. This week's jackpot is ¤4,800.

The Junior hurlers lost to Our Ladys Island on Sunday last going down by a single point. They play away to the Shelmaliers on Sunday next, March 28 at 6 p.m. The Junior B hurlers won their opening league game beating Adamstown (1-11 to 3-3) and they play away to Davidstown on Saturday next, March 27 at 5 p.m. The Minor hurlers play away to Glynn/Barntown on Sunday next, March 28 at 11a.m.

Indoor hurling continues on Tuesday nights in Crossabeg community centre and on Wednesday nights in Ballymurn hall. Beginners and U8s train from 6.30 - 7.30 p.m and U10s from 7.30 - 8.30 p.m. Club jackets are available in all sizes, so contact Johnny Walsh if interested in a purchase.

HALL COMMITTEE.

Ballymurn hall committee are holding a fund raising concert on Friday 26th March in Ballymurn Hall at 8pm sharp.A great night's entertainment lined up so come along and enjoy the craic. Admission : Adults ¤5 Children ¤1

All proceeds go to the Hall restoration Fund.

GREEN SCHOOL COMMITTEE

Ballymurn Green school committee are taking part in Earth Hour on Wednesday 24th March. This is a world wide project and they are asking everyone to turn off their lights for one hour. We are hoping that everyone in the parish will join in. To start off the day we are having a Magic Recycling show for all school children and at 11.15 we are turning off the lights for one hour.

VINTAGE RUN

The Over The Water Vintage Run will take place on Sunday 18th A April starting from Ballymurn at 12.30.

It is in aid of County Wexford Community Workshop Enniscorthy dedicated to providing services for people with Disabilities& the J Whelan Fund.
