Book Festival returns

WEXFORD Book Festival will return to the town this year, it has been confirmed.

The four-day event will take place from Thursday, May 20 to Sunday, May 23.

This year's festival programme will feature a variety of respected authors including Eoin Colfer, Irish poet Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill, crime fiction writer Declan Hughe, a memoir writing workshop with renowned creative writing teacher Irene Graham, a book making workshop for children and much more. Acclaimed screenwriter, film director and satirist of Scrap Saturday fame, Gerard Stembridge, will take part in this year's Literary Lunch in Whites Hotel.

The 2010 Wexford Book Festival features 14 events of which many are free of charge. The festival website, www.wexfordbook.ie is due to go live shortly and will contain full details of the festival programme.
