BARNTOWN CHARITY DAY
Sunday 25th March last saw the Barntown Community hold its now "Annual Charity Day", which was again baked in glorious sunshine. Hundreds of people turned out to either take part or just spectate as the various events unfolded.
Events such as football, bike run and charity auction were added to this year with the hugely popular car trial taking centre stage and the Tractor Run event made more than its fair impact this year. The Rianna & Paul Mcgrath penalty shoot out really got the crowd cheering. All the money raised for the three charities is practically counted, with one more event to go.
A Golf Classic on Friday 4th May and presentation night has now been set for Sunday 6th May in Mary Jo's beginning at 9pm with Innuendo. We will unveil the amount you raised so make sure you can be there to finish a really enjoyable and very worthwhile charity day 2012.
