SHORE Angling Competition on Ballyteigue Burrow: 7pm to 10pm.

Registration on The Burrow from 5:30pm, Seniors: €10 Juniors: €5; Prize presentation and refreshments in Stella Maris Centre, Kilmore Quay. (In order to meet safety requirements all juniors must be accompanied by an adult).

MONDAY JULY 1 TO THURSDAY JULY 4

10am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 4:30pm 'The Tempest' Festival Workshop for Children (7 – 15 yrs). Four days of Arts, Crafts, Construction and Street Theatre in preparation for the opening parade of the Festival. Contact 087 7666431.

8pm - 'Quay Times' official launch in the Stella Maris Centre. 'Quay Times' Exhibition will be launched by Cllr. Jim Moore featuring: The Wexford Camera Club presentation 'A View Around Kilmore', an exhibition of stunning photographs taken in and around Kilmore Quay. 'Redwells Studio' – exhibition of original paintings in the Bird Rock Café at the Stella Maris Centre.

2pm Life's a Beach. The Festival's annual sand castle competition takes place on the Little Beach, together with traditional beach sports like egg and spoon race, sack race and wellie throwing – with Red Moon Theatre.

3pm – 6pm Sea Kayaking on the 'Little Beach' with the Shielbaggan Outdoor Education Centre. Three one-hour lessons only €12. Booking essential - contact 087 766 6431.
