Michael runner-up in CPA's student accountancy award

ENNISCORTHY man Michael O'Connor has been named as runner-up in the recent Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Ireland Student Development Award.

Shortlisted from hundreds of entries, the judges were highly impressed with Michael's educational achievements to date, presentation skills, attention to detail and enthusiasm in pursuing a career in accountancy and he was just beaten to the overall prize by Waterford's Charlene Foley.

Michael will receive €1,000 to pursue his chosen study path with the CPA Ireland.
