COMMUNITY LOTTO

There was one winner of last weeks Jackpot Congratulations to Mary Jordan on winning the jackpot of €8,400; the numbers drawn were 7,10,19,30.

Congratulations to the 12 match 3 winners who each receive €25. They were Brendan Carty, Liam Hayes, Peggy Donavan, Ciara Edwards, Padraig Power, John Cheevers, John Kelly, Danescastle Music Group, Irene Doyle, Martina Furlong, Amy O'Connor, Benson's. PARENT AND TODDLER

The Parent & Toddler Group will resume in Rathangan Hall on Wednesday 15th September 2010 from 10.30am - 12pm. For more information contact Niamh on 087/7828817 or check out their page on www.rathangan.net. Fee each Wednesday is €2.50

PARENTS ASSOCIATION AGM

The Parents Association AGM will be held on Wednesday 15th September at 8pm in the GP Room in the school. All parents/guardians are asked to attend as all parents/guardians automatically become members of the Parents Association once your child commences school

ST ANNE'S LADIES FOOTBALL

Congratulations to The Wexford Senior Camogie All Ireland winners. Hard luck to our Intermediate team who lost last Sunday against Offaly, but a great game by our own Fiona Bennett who scored 2 goals and 1 point.

Well done also to our U-12 girls who got to play in Croke Park at half time. Hopefully the first of many visits to Croker.

SUNSHINE CLUB

St Annes Sunshine Club will reopen on Thursday 16th September in St Aidan's Hall Baldwinstown. Meeting from 12 noon till 2pm. New members always welcome

SUPPORT FOR OLDER PEOPLE

Under the scheme "Community Support for Older People the Sunshine Club will shortly be applying for funding re supply and installation of Socially Monitored alarm Systems.

At the press of a button 24 hours a day social monitoring provides personal protection and peace of mind for older people especially for those who are isolated and live alone.

If you or a family member (over 65's) would like to avail of an Emergency Response Unit please contact Annette at 0539139196 before Friday 17th September for further details.

PILATES CLASSES

IRISH DANCING CLASSES

VARIETY CONCERT

A Christmas Variety Concert to be held in the parish in early December. Any local talent interested in participating should contact Mairéad Redmond (Adult Choir), Rose Walsh (Drama Group) or Fr Tom with a view to involving as many local artists as possible ... Set Dancing, Hip Hop, Irish dancing, Solo Artists, Groups, Drama, Comedy etc. Please keep an eye on the Parish notes from now on for further details.

CHURCH GATE COLLECTION

A total of €726.18 was raised in aid of the Pakistan Appeal.

A big thanks to all those who donated to the appeal. Also a total of €348.55 was raised in the collection in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation in Rathangan & Cleariestown a big thanks to all.

There will also be a church gate collection in aid of the friends of the severely intellectually disabled after masses the weekend of 18th & 19th September

WEDDING BELLS

RUSSIA FUND FUN DAY

Thanks to all who supported and helped out with t he Children of Russia Fund Fun day It was a great success

GOLFING SOCIETY

The results of the Coach Inn Golfing Society outing to Rathaspeck is as follows: Winner M. Stafford, 2nd S. Masterson. The presidents' prize will be played in Killerig Golf Club on the weekend of the 18th September.
