DAFFODIL DAY

The Irish Cancer Society annual Daffodil Day collection takes place on Friday, March 26. Anyone who would like to help in any way, either by donating fresh daffodils, allow collection boxes on their business premises or assisting on the day, please contact Eileen Morris at 053 91 33267.

ST. PAUL'S ATHLETIC CLUB

In Bridgetown on Sunday, March 13 last, the senior mens team took part in the Co. Wexford Master and Novices Road races. Ger Maloney was to the forefront of the race throughout and finished strongly to take first place in the Over 45 Masters Section. Peter Connick, Leo Harte and Eoin O'Neill all took part in the Novices race and together put in a fine team performance.

On Sunday, March 20 last, Ger was again in action, this time in the Leinster Senior 10k Road Race which was held in Bree. Ger had a great run to claim 11th place in the province and, together with his team-mates, claimed the gold medal in the team event. Good luck to all athletes competing in the All Ireland Indoor championships this weekend.

Whist on Tuesdays at the Railway Social Club from 2.30 to 4.30pm.

Bowls on Thursdays from 2.30 to 4.30pm in the Railway Social Club.

Knitting and Sewing Club at Harbour View Hotel on Fridays from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Joining fee ¤5 pluls ¤1 per session, which does not include tea or coffee. All are welcome at any of the above events.

The May Holiday to Macroom is for five nights and six days from May 23 to 28. Some rooms are still available. The last date for booking to be paid was last Monday, March 22.

ST. MARYS CAMOGIE CLUB

St. Marys Camogie Club will hold a table quiz in Culletons of Kilrane on Thursday next, March 25, at 8.30pm.Table of 4 is ¤20. Raffle and prizes on the night. Please support this worthy cause.

GAA LOTTO

There was no winner of the jackpot on March 15. The numbers were 4,7,10,26 Bonus 36. We had one match 3 winner, Trish Carroll. Next week's Jackpot is ¤10,400.

FASHION SHOW

A Fashion Show will be held by the French Connection, on Wednesday March 24th at 9pm in Kelly's Hotel, Rosslare. This event is in aid of Lollitots Community Preschool. Admission is ¤12. Tickets are now available at reception in Lollitots or alternatively you can purchase your tickets at the door on the night.

BEACH CLEAN UP

Please show you care by joining the Tidy Towns Team in a major beach clean up on Saturday the 3rd of April at 11am. Please assemble at the lifeguards tower.

WATER SPORTS
