Camross drama group will hold a drama meeting in the Old School, Caroreigh on Monday 27th Juneat 9pm. All members are requested to attend.
Now that the exams are finished it is back to matches and our minor and u16 teams will line out early this week and we wish them success. I expect all age groups will have games in the next week so please forward all match details to PRO Breda Banville. Wexford u16 squad lost out to Laois in the Shield Leinster final at the weekend on a scoreline of 2-9 to 25. Three Tagh/Cam players, Niamh O'Gorman, Kasey Maher and Sarah Banville were part of the squad.
The U14 girls played a league match against Cushionstown on Tuesday 14th at home. The girls started the game with only 12 players and at half time returned with 15 players and showed great team spirit to go on to win with a score of 3.2 to 2.3 On Friday last the same girls travelled to Marshalstown to play in the quarter finals of the championship but luck was not on their side and they lost on a scoreline of 5.1 to 2.0 having put up a galant performance. The team consists of: Rachel Murray, Clodagh Dempsey, Gillian Banville, Amy Dee, Aiobhinn Butler, Davina Murphy, Rachel Delaney, Emma Shannon, Elsa Dunlop Doyle, Jessie Doyle, Ciara Murray, Claire O'Gorman, Annie Stafford, Clodagh Dunne, Bronagh Murphy, Annie O'Gorman, Katlyn Maher, Rebecca Banville and Clodagh Dee.
In the U12 Camogie Roinn 2 South Mini League Taghmon/Camross overcame a strong Bannow/Ballymitty side last Wednesday,This was a great team performance from all the girls scoring 3-2 to B/B 2-0 . FAMILY RESOURCE CENTRE
Men's Breakfast Morning from 10:00am to 12:30pm and new (male) members are always welcome.
Internet access is available at the centre. Driver Theory Test practice is available at the Centre.
We are currently setting up a Book Club. Anyone interested in joining please contact us. Over the summer we will be planning for our educational programmes in September. If you have any suggestions about what you would be interested in doing please let us know.
Walking Group: The walking group will meet at the FRC at 11:00am. At your own pace and refreshments back at the centre afterwards.
Presentation Night: Calling all participants of Training and Education courses attended at Taghmon Family Resource Centre Ltd. A presentation night will be held on 29 th June to award certificates, at 7:30pm.
Youth Drop In Parents night: There will be Youth Drop In evenings at the Family Resource Centre over the summer on Tuesday and Friday evenings starting on 1st July, 2011 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. All parents are invited to an information/registration evening on Monday, 27th June from 7:00pm to 8:00pm where you will be asked to fill in consent forms etc.
Summer closing: Taghmon FRC will be closed for groups from Monday, 4th July to Friday 15thJuly, inclusive, except for the Youth Drop In which will continue on Tuesday and Friday evenings throughout the summer.

BARN DANCE AND BBQ
A Barn Dance and Barbeque will be held at George McGee's farm Ardinagh, Taghmon on Friday 8th July from 9.00 p.m. till late. Proceeds in aid of church renovation fund. Tickets €15 on sale on the night.
Taghmon I.C.A held its Summer meeying on 15th June, After an exciting afternoon enjoying President Mc Eleese's visit to the village we departed to Coolaught Gardens and Garden Centre, Clonroche where we had a tour of the lovely gardens before going indoors for a short meeting.
Joan Dier presided and welcomed back Marie Green after her long illness. Everyone was pleased to see her looking so well. After corrospondence and treasurers reports Joan thanked all who had helped with the Special Occasion Competition where the guild came second and their table was admired earlier by President Mc Eleese as was that of camross who won the competition - well done Camross.
Our Summer Outing was discussed and will take place on July 5th to Carlow, the National Stud, Japanese Gardens and Newbridge.Friends are very welcome to join us but places are limited so please contact Josephine on 053 9134346 or any member of the I.C.A. for bookings and full details.
We ended a long day with a nice tea served by Mrs Deacon and enjoyed our usual strawberries and cream and cheesecake.The Guild is now closed until September and we look forward to seeing everyone again after the Summer Holidays.
