An afternoon of music and entertainment in the Talbot Hotel spread a bit of hope to the less fortunate when it raised €2441.50 for the Lourdes Invalid Pilgrimage fund.

People of all ages came out in their droves to enjoy music from local artists including Ger Busher, Static and George Lawlor. Along with music, there were plenty of prizes on offer for some of the lucky guests.

The event, which was the brainchild of William Berry, was organised in aid of the Lourdes Invalid Pilgrimage Fund. William hopes that through the fundraiser, he will be able to send sick people to Lourdes and give them a bit of hope.
