Amnesty's Colm in Celebrity MasterChef
COLM O'Gorman, the Wexford-based head of Amnesty International in Wexford, is to show off his culinary skills in the second series of Celebrity MasterChef Ireland which will return next week with two new judges and a brand new home on TV3.
This eight-part series will broadcast every Monday on TV3 at 10 p.m. from January 16 to March 6.
Colm, aged 50, has been cooking since he was a child. He learned most of his skills from cooking with his mother and says feeding people makes him happy.
With the new series come two new judges with pedigrees to the MasterChef kitchen. Two Michelin star chef, Daniel Clifford is one of Britain's most celebrated chefs. His astonishingly creative and flawless Midsummer House is ranked amongst the top restaurants in Europe. With a profound respect for ingredients and flavour he recently opened The Flitch of Bacon. Dublin-born Robin Gill is one London's most respected chefs and restaurateurs. Competing against Colm will be athlete Sonia O'Sullivan, singer Samantha Mumba, RTE weather forecaster Evelyn Cusack, Eurovision winner and singer Niamh Kavanagh, model Holly Carpenter, model Nadia Forde, 'Saturday AM' presenter Simon Delaney, singer songwriter Mundy and retired GAA footballer Oisin McConville.
